Design The Forum Logo Competition

We have decided to open the competition for the forum logo.
The temporary logo that is there now is about the ideal size, we could make it a bit longer but can't really make it any taller.
Any ideas welcome, maybe we could just have a small Logo, and that attached to a picture for the forum?
It's up to you.
Either put your entry into this post or into the gallery
We will leave this open for 10 days
I'll arrange a prize for the winner

I quite like what you have done already perhaps a small picture would go but we are a bit limited, perhaps one of the new members will have an idea.

That was a 5 min job just to get something on there

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. If anybody has better ideas I'm sure they will say.

Why don't you try different things and see what response you get

How about a different colour or at least a different shade of blue as this looks so much like Roamers. Do we need a picture in our title? What does everyone else think?

I am quite happy with no picture and agree a different shade or complete colour change be more effective.

I only stuck a picture in to try and get some interest going in the competition

I like Green Steve, that would suit me, but I am sure others will have an opinion as green can be an emotive colour

Greens not for me, font not bad although I do like capitalising the M & H

The font is grass so Green is the most likely

This was my 1st thought, small logo that can be used on various things and just add a picture or something to it for the forum
We're not using that though, it will be one of your designs

How do you put a powerpoint slide in here ?

nah !

on mine (netbook) if I press preview, another box comes up with attach file (only just seen it) .
Save your powerpoint page as a bmp or jpg etc.
then attach file and submit.

I like the design but I'd like to see it in more summery colours? Also it could potentially cost a lot to produce as a quality flag

I'm liking the text, but like Andy, if you think of flags and advertising your struggling, that's why I think of a square logo, we can then add something like that text next to it just for the forum

Ideal, we could get flags/mugs Etc with something like that, you could add something now to the right, starting with the blue, to make it longer for the forum logo

does that meen i have lost
