I topped up our card at 1.17 in readiness for our trip to Germany in December for the Christmas Markets.
I see Angela Merkel is back in charge of Germany's finances.
Which markets are you going to?
We want to go to a Xmas market this year preferably in Germany (which is ironic as the Frankfurt market in Birmingham is only up the road!) but imagine the stellplatze would be full to the brim.
We use travelfx.co.uk for our holiday cash Still at 1.1736 this morning and free delivery (over £500)
But prefer the Nationwide card which gives a better rate and no fees August we got 1.15 for cash via travelfx (best in the high street was less than 1.14 at the time) Average on the Nationwide card was 1.17

Looking at exchange rates again without using caxton card, so far up to today the best we've found is "moneycorp.com" @ 1.2027...

Sorry, I have only just seen your post. I was topping up my CaxtonFx card with that rate. They are currently loading at 1:2010 so not as good as TravelFx.
