| Had hoped that the Euro would pick up before we went to Spain but things are not looking good so went for it and changed some money. I managed to get 1.132 which was a lot better than at my bank but disappointing considering what it has been | |

| Hi, It would be interesting to compare rates when we return, as we never buy before we go, we always use either a debit or credit card to purchase or get cash out.
We purchase using either the Nationwide Credit Card or the Halifax Clarity Card
We get cash out using either the Halifax Clarity Card or the Nationwide Debit.
I will post the exchange rates and any interest we receive, we if all goes well are going to Europe in May and September.

| how do you go on with the bedsheets getting washed and your general household washing clothes etc, margarita uses a gallon of water to wash a cup.and as for showers,i will shower twice a day occassionally more so if its hot and sticky,i would spend half my holiday looking to fill the tank with water. sometimes we dont use sites but after 5/6 days we have to go to a site to get everything fresh again.its great if you are wilding and have a tap within reach, but most places are remote{the places i wild are}so it would mean daily water excursions,i used to carry 5x25 litre containers for that reason.now i only carry 2x25 containers.give me some tips on how to save water{i have done the platic/carboard plates etc} | |

designed for electric shower where it wont save much water but saves a shed load in a motorhome You will probably not gain any water saving benefit as electric showers are already low flow devices however, the Twin Injet technology will usually improve the quality of your showering experience it says on the tin.not gain? | |

| Seeing as we will be taking nearly €50 with us in cash I have invested in a safe, having it installed by Chubb on Thursday, as it weighs 400KG it will cut down my payload quite a bit so to pay for the installation I will be renting space out in at very reasonable rates but sadly with no Insurance cover. | |
