We'll be OK, 3 batteries and solars, go to bed early and get up late, might not even get up some days  "accidently" forgetting the TV might help too

Had a quiet night then walked up the mountain this morning.
Local weather forcast says weather will be good for the rest of the week. Sun is out and its 19* ... not bad for October !

Been up the mountain this morning ... bright sunshine.
Sitting having a coffee when we got back and it started raining .. quite heavy now !
Sun will be out later. .

Been nice today but gets cold at night, had a walk up the hill today with John while Adele and Lesley walked into town.
planned on going to the football match on Saturday and take some photos, found out today though that I have come away with two flat camera batteries and no charger

Wish I could manage the walk-bad enough here -very windy -just right to take my breath!!

Tried to get a space for this weekend but apparently it's fully booked 

Lot of vans on now, they are starting to park on the field which he told me was now closed till after winter.
Tried getting a battery or charger but no joy here, could get one in Kendal but they want silly money for them.
Adele had had a few walks into town as we planned, doing well, things finally looking a bit better 

A lot cooler here in the Midlands than in the lake district.....and the weather is grim.  

Traffic jams all the way home, especially at Windermere, roadworks causing queues for miles .. and many tailbacks on M6.

Some people dont understand the logic 

3 genny's for sale, could be a bit messy though removing them from the owners arses 

Hi Ken, just remind me of the contact details of the owner.  We're thinking of going in a couple of weeks, mid-week though, so shouldn't be full I hope.  Might take the genny though....

I'm not against genny's, there a great bit of kit when needed, what I can't understand is when someone turns up at evening why do they need the genny at 10:00 the morning after?

The answer is ken you don't, we only use ours when leisure batteries are very low as a back up charger, oh & when we want to eat the odd croissant with the microwave enroute in Europe

No genny's up here

Thank you - it's of Windermere from the top of the track near the motorhome aire/park where we had the rally in July and where Ken has probably gone for his birthday ..

Well last week we had low flying jets, an Hercules troop carrier and even a Chinook helicopter, nothing happening today 

Right bell ringers I've heard enough now, I know you have to practice but just for this week could you do it tomorrow night please 

But this morning you were wishing something would happen !

Anyway they're very tuneful .....

Hi Ken, hope you & Adele are OK, and have now got back to real life!!
Forgot to ask last time, but how much is it per night on Millers Field? 
When we were there on the meet we probably got a good deal, but now wondering what the normal rate is.
I seem to remember that one of the clubs did get a discount, but not sure which one it was.
Looking like we're off up there tomorrow for a couple or 3 nights...and I know to expect wet stuff, and probably lots of it!
