Postcode for navigation – LA22 0EE. On Rothay Road, Ambleside, follow the sign for ‘Miller Bridge Car Park’ and this will bring you to the entrance gate.

Secure motorhome camping in the centre of Ambleside, based on the European ‘aires’ system. We have 25 hard-standing pitches which are open all year round and a further 30 seasonal grass pitches. Our facilities are limited to a fresh water supply, toilet emptying point and secure camping within a two minute walk of all the amenities that Ambleside has to offer; supplies, groceries, fuel, bars, restaurants, walks, lake, village park with playground etc……….




CHARGES £7.00 / Van / Night
Regardless of the size of van or number of occupants

No admissions after 9.00pm, departure by mid-day please.
Dogs are welcome on site but must be kept under control at all times.
Generators may be used but please show consideration to other site users, DO NOT use before 10.00am or after 8.00pm.
BBQ’s and fire buckets may be used as long as they are not placed directly on the grass or close to any vans.
For security reasons it is important that the main gate remains locked at all times except for your arrival and departure.

Limit
I am setting a 14 van limit on this meet for now, reason is, the site has just opened a new area which will hold 14 vans and he is planning on us using this area, If we do get 14 or more I will start a reserve list and contact him to see what arrangement we can come up with, it might be a case of just parking away from the group.
Arriving early or staying on
There is no problem if you want to arrive earlier than the 25th or stay on a bit longer, but please note that the rally is for 4 nights, 25/26/27/28th, any stays other than these dates will be charged at normal prices of £10 per night.
Entry
On arrival you will find the entrance gate is locked by a combination padlock, I will supply the code for the lock nearer the time - enter the code then press the button on the base of the lock and it should spring open. Ensure the gate is locked behind you then get set up in the designated rally parking area (which will be signed).

We have been here today and a great spot it is, only minutes from town centre with great views, good walking for those that can, and great bus service for those that cannot.

Ok, a bit late, but put us down for this meet.

Last time we were there a yank in the far corner had his genny running most of the day and probably up to midnight.  Wrote a note to the field owner, don't know the outcome.

Hi Allen, was speaking to Graham's daughter today about the site, deffo NO gennys before 10.00hrs after 20.00hrs so if your coming get your name on the list and join the fun.

we will be arriving thurs day morning and setting up base camp .

programe weekend

thurs .arive at base camp settle in homers inn will be open in the evening for little gathering

friday. free day  homers restuarant opens a 7.30 curry night and a bottle of beer £4 pounds per couple all profits to club funds and a game of bingo .

saturday. morning walk just out side the camping field there is a fantastic hill walk once at top with incredable views of windermere .photo shoots .fit and able only coffe biscuits at top .
evening time pam and me will be going out for a meal as it is my birthday no reservations made just on speck please join us if you wish 6.30 at the jazz bar

sunday. free day.evening homers bar open quizz night easy questions this time and lottery draw which i have named mike,s balls

monday. coffe at marshalls van at 10 am

hi just up date still have few places left for this one if any of our new members won't to join in  a little health and safety all those comeing on hill walk can you take small flask! Whistel and small torch please this not hard walk but the weather can change in seconds on top there will be lots of people up there
