6. Franks Field - 27th July to 1st Aug

Franks field is set in just under an acre of land adjioning the Leeds and Liverpool canal in west Lancashire (ormskirk)
We have open views of the coutryside looking towards Liverpool,
the field is gated and fenced (stock fence)
water and elsan point (each morning)
being on the canal we have 3 pubs within easy walking distance (2 serving food)
public transport is available at the top of the lane, the bus runs every half hour to Liverpool (45 mins) and Southport (30min)
we tend to have a lots of bbqs weather permitting and social gatherings (drinks)
the cost per unit is 1 x 5k bag of charcoal and the shared costs of the first bbq (I will organise all the food (and cook it)
after that you supply your own food, either cook it yourself or i will do it.
Maximum of 15 vans

max for the field is 15.and a no children policy as my dogs run free,and 1 of the dogs does not like children.he has no problem with adults,he just barks at you.but i would be mortified if he was to bite a child.i had stated in last years meet about no children.

Any issues with bringing a small dog along? with the other dogs I mean

if the dog gets on with my dogs no problem,otherwise must be kept on a lead and supervised.i hope that answers your question.

Yes, she is fine with other dogs, although reluctant to go near larger dogs -she is a yorkie cross, as big as a cat. She is always on a lead, if a dog chased her she would just not stop.

Hi Everyone

Well our adventure came to an end with a bump on the way back from Cornwall on Sunday

its in the garage for an estimate for the insurance tmos

our insurance have informed us that we can have a hire motorhome if ours is not ready for Franks field 

so hopefully we will be there one way or another Frank

not long now,i will pm everyone with details on how to get here and my phone number.
and a few things we could do.
the veg patch is looking ok,so plenty of fresh salad.
and all the trees have been chopped back for easier accsess.  see you all soooooon.

a little change of plan,the bbq i was going to arrange for us all is now cancelled,however the big bbq will be available to everyone to use whenever required,

most of the field is flat,but ramps needed in other parts.

arriving with a full tank of water is preferred.
