6. Southport, British Musical Fireworks Championship - 2nd to 6th October 2014

I have reserved space for us at the 2014 British  Musical Fireworks Championship, parking will be at the usual place - Southport pleasureland car park
Price to be confirmed but probably £10 per night, plus the usual £1  per person rally fee
dates booked are 2nd to 5th October, leave site on the 6th October

Just had this info from our local paper, hope it is if use to those attending this meet.

If you're a dog owner please make sure you will be happy for your pets to attend this meet, these fireworks are big, and very very loud.

Joyce , they have 5 different companies every year as far as I can remember, but it is a great show and well worth seeing even from the Pleasure ground car park as all you miss id the low lying fireworks you see everything else, just hope we are nor down wind again this year as the mess from the fallout on the vehicles was terrible as I found and what happened to Wurly n Jo was worse as theirs was a brand new m/h.

But never fear I am the marshall and will sort the wind out as well as the parking so come and enjoy a spectacular nighttime show in the sky.

Looking forward to the fireworks and the shopping Bob.

Yes I took the family into the park to watch and we still could not see the low ones so will be staying on the Pleasureland carpark to watch

southport fireworks display meet has a special display of daylight fireworks this year so should be something noneof have ever seen before, it will be very special I think so come and join us.

Ken, panic over for me as I just rung Barbara and there will be an extra charge but only for toads and trailers with cars on, cars/caravan are classed as a single unit.
