£47 if you are arriving on Thursday
£44 if you are arriving on Friday

Water and Elsan, NO EHU, generators allowed between 8:00 and 22:00 and ideally no more than 2 hours at a time.

If you wish to join us you will need to book using the online booking form and select Motor-Homers from the club list, booking opens on December 6th - i will put the link in here when booking opens

No, not at the moment, we are going to the Cheshire Food Festival, a couple of days near Rutland water and on to Peterborough then over to Norfolk to see relatives (home country), then home to Chepstow to re-group, send out begging letters etc, before planning next trip out.

It's only 130 miles to the Bournemouth meet which I am marshaling it's a 6 night meet so come & have a holiday! Very Happy

No we don't have one (yet) but this is our MH, handsome chops is my grandson Jamie and on both side panel to the rear of the rear most window is a picture of a wolf.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Anyone wanting to go to this great motorhome show, here is a - "Link" - to pre book your camping place with us.
Notice we are on the list of clubs, so put "motor-homers" on the entry form.

The National Show has always been known for the quality of its entertainment and 2014 is no exception. Be dazzled by performances from more than 10 different acts across Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. While for our Saturday night main entertainment** see none other than the hilarious comedian Stan Boardman, the Barron Knights with their hits and amusing parodies, and the Merseybeats taking you back to 1960s Britpop heaven!

We're booked in to go to, as part of the 'Myrtle's Mates' meet-up. Our van conversion should have been ready by now but it's been delayed by a couple of months, so we'll only be going if we can borrow a van for that weekend from some friends who own a motorhome hire company if they have one that's not out on hire. If not it'll have to be next year!

"these Fockers where Messerschmitts" was the last joke Stan told on UK tv and the last time I saw him, Frank n Marg saw him in Benibengo a few days ago he is now in Haro Spain on his way home.

Due to lack of numbers, we will not have a reserved camping place at this show, you can still go though but will have to park in the general camping area

I remember going to the Newark show a few year back and the queue for the entertainment tent was a mile long an hour before it opened, all trying to get good seats, so go early if you do get a ticket Very Happy

You've put me off already Ken, think a DVD and strong drink might suffice for entertainment.

Well, we are back from the show and we had a great time. I cannot believe how many homers we met. We started the day meeting John & Lesley, then Jan & Bazza. We saw Pat 4 Neil and had a look around their amazing truck! We stopped to chat to Lindyloot and heard all about her new motorhome. We saw Techno and Jacs who are very well. Bumped into Les & Sue Cotton and of course, our new members Donna & Nigel. It was almost like a Homers meet!!!

Had a great day but could barely walk at the end of it Shocked

Mick is very pleased with his purchase of 'Peggy Pegs' - they are storm pegs for the awning and were shown to him by Techno (Thanks Andy, they were expensive Very Happy

) here's hoping our days of manually holding the awning down in a storm are over.

If you want strong pegs personally I don't think you will beat [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] used these for years 1st with the tent and now with the awning, plastic ones are OK but not good in hard ground so I prefer the stainless steel ones

Thanks for the link Ken, I have just been told by Mick that Peggy Pegs are not plastic they are some glass reinforced 'stuff' that are very strong. They have an assortment of sizes and some flat feet to clamp our awning legs into so if you go out or go to bed and you put in your awning, the clamp stays in the ground ready for the next time. The concept is a very clever idea, but then its German, anyway you just have to remember to check your pitch carefully before you leave it so you don't leave anything behind. Very Happy

After the storms we have been through in France, Ken, I don't think even your SS ones would keep our awning down - they have been freaky Rolling Eyes

The stainless delta pegs have been tested to 200kg per peg and work like an anchor, the more you pull it the more it digs in

Great to see everyone
The peggy pegs have lots of unique features that you have to understand to fully appreciate. I believe they are on youtoob too.
Keep us informed on how the diesel fliter holds up Les

I also bought the new model Nature pure water filter and will be selling on the old one.
