Adele's in hospital on the 15th, she thinks she will be Ok to go to the meet but we won't know till I pick her up, so just in case we can't make it, is there anyone who would like to be the rally marshal if we don't make it?

I have asked and they said it would be OK, I'll be speaking to them again soon and will give them an idea of how many are going to arrive on Thursday

No, what they told me is "they are not hard standing pitches and the grass can get bad at times so don't like using it in winter, so what we do is park the vans up on the tarmac, we can easily get 10 vans on there, there is room for a couple more at the top"

Just spoke to them at Newsholme manor, everything OK.
Those wanting to go on Thursday can do and arrive at any time.
Meal booked for 18:00 on Friday.
No need to pay any fees on arrival, I will collect these on Saturday and pay them all together.
There is a dinner dance on Saturday night, but we will still be able to use the bar.

Set off at 14.30hrs (half past 2) and home at 20.30hrs (half past 8)... normally a 2hr trip...

I was sat in the middle of M1 making a buffet tea....

Worst thing was missing my youngests' school play :-(

Sorry folks -my van is ready,aired and heated but the dreaded bug has returned (never fully gone away) and I feel that I will not be able to join you all this weekend -I'm gutted

Sorry too hear the bug has returned Pete, Barb had the same job getting rid of it and it took 9 weeks to get back to near normal, hope you're feeling better before Spain ( or you ain't going )
