Valentines Meet 2014 suggestions

Any suggestions for a place to hold the 2014 valentines meet?
Ideally hard standing with electric and within easy reach of the main road network, no isolated country locations.

frodsham. lady heyes.just a thought for all you lovebirds as me and margarita will be on the juice somewhere in a warmer climate.but if i was home i would choose ladyheyes

Thanks Frank, someone did mention that at the weekend, I wasn't sure if it was open or not, were they not closing after we had the meet there or was that just the pub?

no they were extending it,but wont effect the site.pubs still there,along with the fabulous steak restraunt  ,but heated toilets which is good for feb,as it will be  coldish. for you all.may i suggest you all go to the pub at the same time,to keep warm.

What about Newsholme Manor - same place as this years Valentines Meet ?

Steve/Kim, we have discussed this and want somewhere nearer to the main road network, if you remember the snow drifts last year we were lucky to get there, or worse still if it snows like that whilst on site we might get snowed in  
At least you stand a better chance near main roads than you do with isolated country areas

We've always wanted to go to Lady Heyes but have never got round to it... But we can't make that weekend. Weekend before or after would be great or another weekend meet?

OK, would anyone be interested in going to Lady Heyes then for valentines weekend? 14th & 15th longer?

Not impressed  if we were going to have a meal , last time we were there the meal  and service left a lot to be desired

178 miles then so not near us.

Looks good but how many hardstandings are there in case of wet  weather , there does not appear to be many  when you google maps it

Also is there a bar on site as it is a bit isolated

Been here twice before and had great meets run by Mark and Alan and a very dodgy drinking contest run by Mark and Brian (say no more) but as said they were smashing fun, the barn is fine and the restaurant food is very good.

Not just up to me Mike,throwing it open to all members.
Is there any interest in any of the above locations??.

Looks a great place here, Julie & me will probably give it a try later in the year!

Pub in Burton only really suitable for odd 1 or 2 vans Joyce

Wasn't the Grouse and Claret that the Roamers went to and it was a case of 'never again'. 

Think the ground was boggy and the food was awful.

Unless it is under new management.
