Valentines Meet 2014 suggestions

First topic message reminder :

Any suggestions for a place to hold the 2014 valentines meet?
Ideally hard standing with electric and within easy reach of the main road network, no isolated country locations.

Its a nice site Mark, they have a field behind the 5 hardstandings so as long as the weather is dry, its a good central location.

Can I ask who is interested for a valentines meet?.
It's only just over 4 weeks away! Put your name down if you are & we will see if we can get a venue sorted out.

Finally got a reply of Hoar Park
"Hello Ken

I have since spoken with John and he says yes. THe best place is the overspill parking area at the bottom of Hoar Park drive which overlooks the garden centre. The M Homes would have to site themselves around the hard standing circle. £6.00 per unit per night this year."

Shall I book it?

thank you for your enquiry.
we have 27 hard standing pitches which are £20 per pitch per night including electric hook up.
there is a toilet/shower block on the site, and we have the pub/restaurant too, which serves food from breakfast starting at 8am at the weekends.

Ken, there is no guidance for motor homers (that I can see), do you know if they offer EHU please.

Thanks Ken, in that case I will wait until my (cheap) liesure batts are delivered before making any non UHU plans.  However if the meet should be somewhere else WITH EHU in that area I may be able to make it.  My wife is a stroke victim and I can't let her get cold with the medication she has to take (not that you want to know that).  Thanks for your time.
