| Hi rt hand door mirror on my left hand drive fiat Ducati motorhome has been damaged most people say a rt hand drive mirror will not be suitable, others say if it is a manual. It can be adjusted, if electric then it can't as the motor is in the wrong place. The extension is also shorter, the casing is shattered, main mirror is ok, the blinds spot mirror is gone, any comments or suggestions, could buy a rt hand drive mirror (£38.0) and use my extension, and even use my main mirror Regards Johnandshirl | |

| Maybe Andy will shed some light on this later but it could be down to the angle that he mentioned - - Andy wrote:
- You cant use a LHD mirror on a Right hand drive they are cranked to suit the driving position.

| I know yours is LHD but if it works one way it "should" work the other _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Its because the left and right bodies are cranked differently for the driving position. The mirror near the driver has a much softer angle than the one at the passenger side. If you look down at them in plan view they are nothing like the same | |

| BTW the spikes are deliberate so you can't make a fool of yourself | |
