La Mailleraye sur Seine now open after refurb.

La Mailleraye sur Seine Aire has now reopened after a refurb, and there is a new way to get in at the bottom of the hill, you have to turn right toward the gendarmerie then left along the entrance road, the font blue has also been repaired and working properly.

Really nice spot here & @ €5 pn its just the job with a lovely boulangerie just up the road & greatriverside walks.

They certainly have smartened it up, and we used to walk along the road to the last enclosure where they have circus winter quarters, and if you are lucky, you get to see the tigers when they are "rested".

You used to come on site from the far side of Bob's pic by the bar/restaurant which is the last building.

Absolutely love this place. Was there approx 24 - 26 July. Weather was fantastic & we love the "Deepan" pizza takeaway up the high street on the left. Not sure about the new water features they have put in though!
