Changing my out of date I phone

Now here comes the question
Which phone should I go for?
Any recommendations?

Which phones do you like

And remember I need to be able to see it the face 
Also think I would like a change from an I phone

Don't want to buy one but don't mind putting money up front

As Ken & Joyce says samsung galaxy is a good allrounder as I use the tablet version for almost everything these days.
