| nec caravan show 2014, been today and it is a total waste of money unless you are going to buy something new, everyone is giving so called bargains but they are all overpriced, the new motorhomes are way over priced and so much rubbish in them that can wrong I would not entertain a new van, unless it was a German or French van but then again now't under £50000, the Swift M/Hs are unbelievably so updated with rubbish extras you do not really need but they are reflected in the prices. I was interested in a inflatable awning but they are asking more at the show than you can buy on fleabay or amazon, we will wait for the winter prices before we decide. | |

| Hia Just seen your picture (lovely) And it reminded me of when on the motorway you sometimes see caravans with a cover over the front.. Is that to stop dirt or stones hitting them? | |

No cover on yet Polly as they wanted £367 for one at the show, go to their website and the same cover is over £100 cheaper, its all a big NEC Show con trick. | |

| Well, we enjoyed the Motorhome show at the NEC. We spent a bit of money (not too much). Was tempted to buy a very nice Dethleffs Esprit and they offered us almost as much as we paid for Helga but we reluctantly walked away as it was still too much money. Bought a fab little speaker so I can bluetooth my phone to it when I am sewing and listen to my music. It has a really good base sound for something so small | |
