Bit of each I think, will find a few stop-overs and leave it at that

Hope to be round that area (Dundee-ish) on Thursday before the ferry on Friday

well you can have your cake and eat it,kill 2 birds etc,get yourself a couple of gugas for the supper.
 fish,gull,and cake a nice 3 courses for ya

Might try the fish, sod the gull, love cake as long as thats not smoked

if you havent got any fishing tackle,you can borrow mine.
it would be great fishing them deserted beaches.

think i will have to have lessons before i fish those beaches   i was the only one who caught nothing at brid     only been once besides that and couldn't get em off the hook and if i could i wouldn't know how to kill and gut them so think i will be seal watching as well . unless Polly's a fisherwoman 

You'll need some good binoculars to see the seals on Shetland beaches from the Hebredes Rob

will have to be seagulls then    sure between me and polly we will find something to beat the 1000 pics we took in France

Better taking too many than not enough, you can always delete unwanted ones (But we never do!) Now't worse than coming home and thinking "I should have taken a photo of that"

Well thats enough planning, got enough now, some places we want to see, fuel stations, supermarkets, rest will be on spec, roll on May, get away from the ratrace

We didn't do any de-cluttering
But the van is coming home on Thursday and we are doing it then, easier when it's at home

Finishing off the de-cluttering this weekend, got the back box to clear out, then fill the van up ready for Thursday

Had another good day today, weather being kind to us, you could say its a bit breezy but at least the sun is out and its fairly warm when the wind drops, showers forecast for tomorrow.
Going to have dinner tomorrow at UK's most northerly chippy (Frankies) which has just been voted UK's best chippy.
Currently parked up for the night at Melby beach, free wi-fi again this time using the wi-fi booster

What a gorgeous place this is, scenery is stunning, been as far north as you can and now heading back down the islands, weather been bad today, misty, wet and windy, visiting Scalloway and Lerwick tomorrow, gonna seem busy after having beaches and roads to ourselves for the last few days!
EDIT - just looked at the weather forecast and we might experience proper shetland weather tomorrow, 51mph winds, will have to choose my parking spot carefully tomorrow

Home time

All good things come to an end Ken, but know how you feel, safe trip home for you both.

Penrith area for the night, about hour and half tomorrow and we'll be home, 4 night shifts to look forward too now!

Had a good run home, no hold ups whatsoever, wasn't expecting that on a bank holiday weekend, might have been a different story if I travelled further down than Penrith yesterday though.
Had a great trip, head full of memories and scenic views I'll never forget, it is a long way and an expensive crossing but well worth doing
