I wondered that too Bob because i didnt know what a stoma bag was, understand now i have Googled it.
Are you worried about supplies Dave? im sure you could get a good supply if you asked your doctor, or even bought some if your stuck

If you get them on prescription your doctor should give you the required amount to cover you for the duration if not it will be cheaper to by the in Spain if that is what you are asking about, a winter break, pharmacies are usually cheaper in Europe than the UK.

My 94 year old Father has worn stoma bags for over 30 years. He has a free hand how many and which he orders - night or day bags. At one time he had a years supply. But now keeps a six months supply. That allows for the odd faulty ones. Dad carries supplies in the car just in case. But when going away in caravan and later my motorhome he took a good supply of both bags and changed in the shower. The used bags were wrapped in the disposal bags supplied and put in the rubbish bag.

In my eyes stoma bags are no worse than babies nappies.
