PS - They don't have a rally field, I think the field in question is just for tents, they use the standard pitches and its only £12 on a rally and you get full use of the facilities, normal price is £26 a night

just looked at the prices   and i think the pub has gone  .

We'll have to get an hot tub instead

Hmm, no mention of the pub but on their Facebook page it mentions a sky bar being trialed back in Feb

Only image I can find, sounds like they have a pizza oven in there too, sounds right about bar being closed, someone asked if they were keeping the soft play area and they have said no

I have split these posts away from the 2016 discussion thread

We spent  New Year there 3 years ago. The toilet block is awarding winning and excellent. The surrounding shops are all in old barns, some in very poor condition, there is possibly the largest second-hand bookshop anywhere in UK, some decent antique shops, a micro brewery and a fish & chip shop/café. The pub was a dump from the outside so never even ventured inside. Unfortunately there were what appeared to be three traveller families semi-permanently pitched and extremely noisy on New Years Eve. We won't go again.
