We have use of the carriage on Saturday night
The train will be running so we can organise a trip into Matlock one day

From M1 Junction 28, 29 or 30, follow signs to Matlock, then take the A6 to Darley Dale.
Take A6 from Stockport, Manchester or Derby.
Take A52 from Stoke-on-Trent to Ashbourne then B5035 to Matlock (Follow brown tourist signs)

Hoping I can get to this meet, hard to plan at moment as sometime in New year, we are getting new kitchens, just don,t know when they are starting.

Yes polly I understand there is a reson why this meet was cancelled but its the distance we have to travel compared to the bluebell farm meet...its another meet further north again! (75 miles further for us)

same for us mark at bluebell farm too far , jan stayed for a night and didn't think it was suitable so we had to find somewhere else at short notice . Hope you both had a lovely Christmas x

Bluebell would have been our first meet but can not make it to the new location,sorry.We are newbies but am I wrong in assuming from the forum that southern meets are less than north ? We are London based.
We look forward to another meet ,no matter it's location ,when time allows.

Yes you are right Pip most of our members are northern based so southern meets are few and far between. I found Bluebell Farm and thought it perfect for a meet until I visited the place and realised it wouldn't be.

Whereabouts are you and how far are you prepared to travel, that wil help when we are trying to book meets.

It's a shame that members down for this meet were not asked for ideas for an alternative venue nearer to the existing location 
Oh well Im sure julie & me will find a great place to spend those few days with or without our "motor-Homers" freinds.

We will travel happily to distant meets from London when we have further plans for the surrounding area before or after a meet.This is the case for Bluebell with commitments in that area.  Look forward to other meets

Bus route to Matlock or Bakewell
We are parked up at the steam train station, so you can watch these lovely puffas all day long.
You can also travel to Matlock and back again on the train and not to dear.
In the evening we have a train carriage for our get together
And we are bound to have a Easter egg hunt and maybe a boules tournament  or whatever.

With being in the Peak Districk roads are usually clear of snow if we have any

Would have loved to join you all at this meet but not allowed time off over Easter as I work in retail

We have our Son, DiL and Grandson coming to stay for Easter so we won't be there either.  We haven't been anywhere yet this year, not fair the motorhome will get square wheels, but we love our Jacob even if he does cry all the time.
