Easter 2013 March 28th to 1st April

We have found a nice centrally located venue for our Easter meet in 2013.
It is to be held at Peak Rail, Rowsley, Derbyshire,DE4 2LF
I have booked it for 4 nights, you can arrive on Thursday 28th March, and leave the site on the 1st April
Cost per van per night = £5 + VAT
Plus the usual £1 per person rally fee
No electric but there is water and an elsan point.

Cannot make this one but a great venue, don't forget the train ride into Matlock and a walk around.

there is the bus stop just on the road either to Matlock or opposite to bakewell

You will be Ok with the dog, not sure if they will be allowed on the train though, so if anyone has any questions about this place then let me know and I will ask as well as asking about dogs.
I have to contact them again soon about the use of the carriage at night

Received an email from peak rail today, we have use of the carraige on Saturday night as long as we make sure it is left clean ready for passengers on Sunday morning

we had fish.and.chips from local chippie last year and they were realy nice.just a suggestion.

Fish and chips Friday?
Can't beat a chippy tea Haven't got use of the carriage though on Friday, don't think they'll be too keen on it smelling like a chippy the morning after Very Happy

when we were there last year we had a fish and chip tea/supper in the carriage but it is a distance from the chippy

Friday PM - Fish and chip night - if it's open on good Friday?
Saturday AM - Train ride - (Just enquired about price, will let you know soon)
Saturday PM - Buffet in train carriage / quiz / Bingo
Sunday AM - Easter games for the kids
Sunday AM - Easter bonnet competition
Sunday PM - Indian BBQ / raffle drawn
Monday AM - Coffee and biscuits at rally marshals van before we leave site.
Raffle tickets will be on sale, any prizes/donations welcome
