| 16" spare wheel carrier. Anyone got such an animal? I may end up making one myself . The chassis is massive so can't be hard to create a suitable device. Help / advice appreciated | |

| Made loads, mainly for trailers. Easiest option is a plate with 4 wheel studs on it, use 2 for bolting wheel on, and drill holes in the other 2 and fit R clips/spring clips, there for 3 reasons, security if the nuts come loose, it holds the wheel in place while you take the nuts off and you put these on 1st to hold the wheel up while you put the nuts on. Either that or make an hinged frame, sit wheel on frame and then lift it up and bolt it _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Apparently alko make one but will not sell it to the public and dealers are just fobbing people off who ask for one | |

| If Al-ko will not deal with you have a word with Mark @ CLS and see what he can do, no harm in trying. | |

| While fitting my Status 560 today I had a quick look below and realised the reason no spare wheel hangar is fitted is BECAUSE Rapido put the frickin waste water tank there So it will definitely be a bespoke midship mounting when I've time | |
