Rally marshals needed

Rally marshals are needed for the following meets
Please add your name to the list if you would like to marshal a meet, we DO need marshals for these meets to go ahead

1) Easter at Southport - Adie
2) Shrewsbury Arms
3) Pugneys
4) Bridlington - Might need a couple of people to do this one Techno100 (8th to 15th)
5) Franks field - Margarita (but she's not a member so Frank will have to do it)  
6) Marbury Park 
7) Haxey Quays - Polly

Hi I know this might sound daft but what does a rally marshal have to do please

Write down names and registration, how many nights and how much it is.collect the money's.
And if you want to do anything else e.g. Raffle, quiz.
That is up to the Marshall.
If not that's ok

Hi thanks for getting  back to me polly I would be interested in helping out at some of the meets but I would prefer it if I could buddy up with someone who has done this before so that I get it right.

It's easy enough Adie, but like you say if you want to team up with someone they will help you out, as Polly said the main things are
Parking 
Let members know where all facilities are (water, elsan, toilets, bins etc)
Details of vehicle and number of members
Collecting site fees and paying the site (or send money to treasurer and they will pay the site)
Collect rally fees
Send any money collected and rally forms to treasurer (SAE and rally pack provided)
Make sure site is clear after the meet
Anything else is up to the marshal, you might want to arrange a meal out, raffle, do a quiz or just say it's a nice easy weekend and put your feet up

Sounds easy enough. I will be a Marshall for you at easter meet. If it helps but will probably plague you all with questions to make sure I don't  mess up. And I might be able to help at other meets but I will let you know closer to the time of each meet. And once again thankyou all for your advice regards adrian.

dont be shy,as ken says no marshalls no meets.
