I have only just started to use the forum, but finding difficulty in finding listed dates for any meet !,

All the meets have the dates in the topic title (ie Bakewell Showground 24th to 29th May 2018)

They are usually on the calendar which is found on the right hand side of each page, just realised that I haven't put this years on yet, will try and get it done later today

Also what facility ar there IE showers etc.

Sorry John, you need a separate certificate for tents which we don't hold, only tent we are allowed is a pup tent on a caravans or motorhomes pitch

John, there are no facilities on site either, but there are some public toilets just as you walk off site.

a few pictures from Kath and my visit today 
cattler market was on so we decided to have a venture in . interesting

those were of the fish but not good but they are their ready for feeding so bring a spare piece of bred and the other a show off

These are the entrance and field

as you enter carry on over cattle grid and onto next raised barrier and to the right is a gate and entrance to the field.we can park wherever but there are a few muddy spots but plenty places to park. if you park with your front wheels on the track/road we should be ok.
forgot to look for water but if I remember correctly its on the left near the bushes near the gate. the elsan I couldn't find we think we found it but I will ask

I'm  not sure as I didn't use the sat Nov as I knew where I was going 
But if your coming from Buxton to Bakewell you go right on the round about towards Matlock but 5minutes if that you turn LEFT ONTO THE AGRICULTURAL CAR PARK.
if your coming from Matlock side then it's Right onto the A Car park

Then go over the bridge and cattle grid and then we are on the right just before the entrance to car park

If you happen to be the first there just Park up ancould you walk down to the building on the left at the next gate and tell them your from the Motorhomers rally, but I will try and be there for 12

Hi Polly
We had a day out in the peak district and thought I would have a look see. The post code takes you right there to the gate. There appears to be half a dozen travellers caravans parked just through the other side of the car park gates at least they looked like gypsies with gas bottles outside and large water containers and washing hanging from the tree's. What was puzzling was there was one of those single toilets you get at shows next to them.if they are gypsies hope there not the vanguard !!!!!
