Best mattress for bad back?

Although I spent alot of money on a new bed about 18 months ago -I am now getting very disturbed sleep as I cant find a position where my back doesn't ache!!

Can any one suggest a good mattress that may help my situation - have coiled springs and memory foam at moment-otherwise may have to move permanently into Mh as never had problem in there

I dont rate memory foam at all we had memory foam for a couple of years and found it had no memory .
You can't beat a good quality sprung matres in my opinion pete.

Jacs said we bought it at Bensons beds. It's a super king size and is just absolutely the comfiest thing we've experienced and that's not a snap judgment as we've had it a good 5yrs.
I recall it was very expensive at well over £1000 before sale discount but its worth it!

When we bought ours a headboard to complement it was as much as £600 which is of course completely ridiculous.
I made my own out of an Ikea wardrobe door which complimented the bedroom furniture and fitted a super kingsize perfect

Thanks all for your input- present bed was over £1000 but obviously not as good as it first seemed- it is a super king but with two different mattresses - one firmer and one softer

we bought a very expensive bed,and i could not get a good night on it.so i bought a silentnight topper/memory,its the best i have had{and i have had a few ,i used my tesco vouchers to buy it,in fact i bought 2,one for the luton,sometimes i am asleep thinking of my bed as i climb the ladder to the bed thats how good it is.

ps pete,move the mattress from the motorhome to the house.

Is there no information on your MH mattress about the construction, density of it etc?

Not that I've noticed Ken-it's memory foam with another foam topper
