| Just trying to get our travel insurance sorted as it runs out just before we set off and it's a ruddy nightmare if your over 65 and got previous conditions. Prices range from £600 to well over £1000 and most only allow 30 days max which is no good, I could take a chance and use my EHIC card but it's a different ball game for Barb. With her pre-existing conditions especially her COPD it would be foolish to rely on the EHIC, but having said that Spanish hospitals are excellent, (she should know as she has been in quite a few) so I will keep looking, and if anyone has pre-existing Ins. at a decent price please let me know. God knows what it is going to cost when we get a bit older, I think we will be confined to m/hing in the UK | |

| Brian, I will look at them all when the time is closer too us leaving, as it is over 31 days before my present ins. runs out I have to input earlier dates, the present one runs out on the 7th March so it will be the end of the month before I start searching again but will post my findings. | |

| Hi, Bob Been searching around and quiet a lot of people are suggesting SAGA may be worth a try also Staysure, never used either of them for travel insurance but from some of the searches they may be worth adding to the list of companies to check out. Link to SAGA [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Link to Staysure [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Nationwide were as expensive to add pre-existing conditions as it was to get complete cover from Insureandgo.
Albeit Nationwide did come up trumps when I had my phone stolen in Maidstone a few years ago. |
