Cold turkey & a padded cell

Leccy fag, had it a few week but was using both to cut the fags down first

4 days without a fag, on my 5th night shift and nights are usually when I smoke the most, not really missing them, leccy fag doing nicely

Keep it up Ken and well done, on my 23rd day now without a fag and like you with the leccy one but now using that less each day.

start eating more healthy foods,and you will not only feel better but you will look better.and that will give you more encouragment to keep strong.

these elec cigarette seem to be doing well

we are going to be a poor country with lots of people giving up so no taxes for the government and who ever invented these cigarette thingys are making a mint but they seem to be working

keep going ken i did it seven years ago and i was a hard smoker nearly a hundred a day when on 12 hr shifts best thing i ever did

I did not start smoking until someone set fire to me

Just trying it out when I was 14

I did not start until I was nine yrs old, younger than that I though was too early

I really used to think I enjoyed it

I really did enjoy one and it was a great stress buster when you where stuck at some obscure border crossing for days waiting for papers too be cleared, also you needed loads of Malboro fags as bribes for the Douane officers, the robbing burgers

Hi, That's the biggest problem, I never accepted that they were DRUGs and that the stress buster was actually just another HIGH, I just wouldn't accept that I was a drug addict, I would argue with anyone who even suggested such a thing, I'M NOT A DRUG ADDICT bloody cheek.

But as I found out in the end that's just what I was, that bloody nicotine is worse than heroin for addiction, and I needed that fag or else I felt terrible I would go out late in the evening if I had run out and find anywhere to buy some fags from.

I enjoy Chocolate but I can leave it alone for a few days without any problem, I couldn't leave a fag alone for more than an hour or so before the panic started.

The best of luck to all of you who are trying to give up, good on you, just don't let that bloody drug nicotine beat you, tell it to P?ss Off you have had enough of it.

I gave up when the smoking ban was enforced inside, for me it was sitting in a pub with a pint & a fag, once that was gone it spurred me into it & and it worked!.

Another day done, I'm surprised how easy I am finding this, don't think I would have done it without the leccy fag though

Well I have managed it, a full month (albeit a short one) without a fag, just got to do another one now before we leave then manage 2 months down in Spain without one

Well done Bob it will now get easier each & every month / year that goes by...how are you getting on Ken?

I've lost count now, think it's 11 days
But still not had one and don't really feel like I want one

Well done -I know several people who are trying to give up and most of them are succeeding

At this rate the price of fags will have to go down in price
