| Hi,
I would make a general comment about ALL of the Motor-home related forums
I think most forums could not survive if they stuck strictly to motorhome related threads only, as there just isn't enough new stuff to discuss, that's why most if not all of them have subdivided themselves into various topics e.g. "Non Motorhome related and Motorhome related sub headings"
Nearly all of the motorhome related threads on any of the forums have been discussed before at sometime, and to older/more active members these can become boring, when they are raised time and time again.
I have read so many times over the years, people complaining about a thread that is motorhome related, but because its been raised before people are complaining as to why the poster hasn't used the search facility before they post.
Obviously if that example was followed and everyone used the search facility before posting then there wouldn't be a need to post anything anymore as its all been covered previously.
I think its a bit like emails, some of us like to receive them and some of us detest them, but for my part I think they are a way of keeping us all in the loop, as while some of the content can be boring,
If it comes from a friend it shows to me that while they may not have anything in particular/specific to say, they still remember I'm around, and for that alone, I welcome the contact albeit I would perhaps have preferred a phone call or a knock on the door.

| I agree with Brian. We need other posts to keep the rest of us happy and keep coming back for more. I notice Baza that you are one of the top 10 posters, and topic starters so . . . . | |

| My comments were a bit tongue in cheek , see the emoticon at the end of my post, just trying to encourage a bit of talk related to M/H's or the places they are going in them , of course I gabble on a bit ,on lots of subjects ,which I and I am sure a lot of others do , but there is no harm in trying to get members to talk about the object of this forum , "A forum set up for people who own motorhomes, camper vans and caravans who like to travel the country and participate in rallies" | |

| The objective of The Club shall be to organise rallies, social events and recreational activities of interest to and for the benefit of members. "A forum set up for people who own motorhomes, camper vans and caravans who like to travel the country and participate in rallies" Maybe it's the cold weather that stops members even thinking about rallies in this country at this time of year ! | |

| Probably ought to ask Ken to change the statement under the logo ! Maybe this would be better - "A forum set up for people who own motorhomes, camper vans and caravans who like to travel and participate in rallies" | |

| Whilst I agree with all of this, I do think for those of us who are further south of the country have to travel hundreds of miles to attend rallies!. Can we not have more rallies nearer the centre of england. | |

| I agree with you Baza in some respect about the kind of posts we have on M-Hs so I monitored another LARGE site for two days and found 50% at least of their posts where non m/h related and they have thousands of potential posters.
We as a small club and usually the same posters daily just keep in touch with each other at this time of year, apart from a few members nobody has ventured away for weeks, its too cold for working on the m/h so techie talk has ceased apart from our resident techie Techno, and of course Polly and her solar panels, Mike is doing his bit with the repair job, and the remainder of the usual posters are talking about Spain. | |
