I have just received one after the other 43 of these "MAILER_DEAMON failure notice" on my mail a/c 98% are from talk talk a/cs and none of them are on my mailing list, what the hell is going on.
Anyone else had this problem

Nothing new, spammers are simply forging your domain as the sender, some of the addresses being spammed are non-existent and the (real - http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=80.239.9.55, Answer 80.239.9.55 PTR record: mx2.itl.no.) mailer daemons are clulessly trying to inform you the "message" was not delivered. They have not bothered to check the real source so you suffer the double indignity of having spam you never sent "returned" for your attention. Don't know if it helps!

Thanks for the info Mark, they appear to have suddenly stopped so hopefully that is the end of that irritating episode. The barmy bar stewards.

I have done some searching and I kinda think I know who is bugging me, if it is them I am sorry for them, that is all they have to do with their time, its inconvenient for me but still if they want too play so be it as I don't think I can stop them.

I get them bob but they are filtered out so i don't see them unless i go into the spam folder

Got one that said " I am responsible for those "Mail Deamons" and it was my fault because I opened one of them, they now go straight to the junk folder

Problem is I now shut down the PC but leave my phone on all the time
