Marbury Park 1st to 5th Aug

We have booked Marbury Park for 4 nights, 1st to the 4th, leaving site on the 5th
Always a good meet this one, lovely quiet country park location, plenty of walking routes, open air swimming pool nearby, garden centre, lake, canal, Anderton boat lift.
On grass but hard ground, water and Elsan but no EHU
Will confirm prices later but from memory its approx £5.50 a night


Rally marshal for this meet is Tessajoe

Can't believe I am not down for this one

are you putting a limit on?

you can only get so many vans into the padock.

last year the parking was a lot better,as we parked head on to the bushes.but i think the limit would be 15/20 vans.i cant remember how many we had when we hit the max?

someone will remember?

Yeah, waiting for the guy who is in charge of the rally field to call me (Monday) for prices and how many they can hold on the rally field, I would think you will get 20 on maximum with adequate spacing as long as you back up to the bushes and not park lengthways like we did the 1st time

ask him to trim the bushes ,at the entrance{gate}as its very very tight.

Good idea Frank made a right mess of my van last time.

We might be in Anglesey the weekend after, we are off for a week but undecided where we are going but that's one place we are thinking of, any good wilding spots you know about? missing the beach locations since our trip to the Orkney isles

No pressure Ken.... But if you can find/arrange a meet that weekend in/around Cheshire somewhere - we will join you.  I have promised to look for a meet in 2014 in Anglesey.

i found this a bit tricky to find{as i went down a country lane}and i had been here twice before  ,maybe someone can give clear directions to the new members{and me}

Come off the M56 at junction 10,take the A559 Northwich rd ,also signed for Marbury Park and Hollies Farm Shop.Carry on down the A559 for 3 miles until you get to the Sevenoaks Saddlery on your right hand side. Turn right here into Gibb Hill ,signed for Comberbach,Marbury Park and Anderton boat lift. Follow this road for 1.3 mile ,through Comberbach you will then come to the village of Marbury ,continue past the Marbury Hall Nurseries on left and a couple of hundred yards on the left is the entrance to Marbury Country Park (well signposted on a left hand bend) Post code for satnav CW96AT
