Marbury Park 1st to 5th Aug

First topic message reminder :

We have booked Marbury Park for 4 nights, 1st to the 4th, leaving site on the 5th
Always a good meet this one, lovely quiet country park location, plenty of walking routes, open air swimming pool nearby, garden centre, lake, canal, Anderton boat lift.
On grass but hard ground, water and Elsan but no EHU
Will confirm prices later but from memory its approx £5.50 a night


Rally marshal for this meet is Tessajoe

 you bring all your own food etc.i will cook whatever you would like cooked on the bbq,or you can cook it youself on the big bbq but only when everyones been fed.
as regards the charcoal,if people bring a bag from time to time its very welcome.
i would think that if we are cooking for 24 people over 3 nights bbq we will use about 8 bags of charcoal. 
hopefully the weather will be good,and we can sit out as a group to enjoy our meals together.

Showing exit off roundabout at Junction 10 M56, you need to take the A559 Northwich road

Follow this road till you come to this junction and take the right turn

You will soon come to the entrance to marbury park on your left, not long after you go past the garden centre

Once you turn left into the drive, follow this road for a couple of hundred yards and it will bend round to the left taking you through the gates (Do not go straight on where it says no vehicles beyond this point - someone did but I'll not tell you who!!)

Follow that road up to the car park, turn right, go straight through the car park into the rally field, the motor-Homers banner should be on the gate (If polly gets there early enough)

Not taken the generator  out with the motor-home yet , going to it a whirl !!

 We can have a fire as long as its in a fire pit, have used Frank's BBQ before today, plenty of dry wood on site

we are raffling an electric scooter a yellow one.but the owner dosent know hes going to give it as a raffle prize yet. 

 as i have just finished reading a book about the power of the mind.

Going to bring my kites yes kites I have found I have 3 I will also bring my swing ball and my darts and pitch and Put but will leave my bucket and spade at home 
So that as sorted the energetic ones out and the rest of us can sit and eat drink and be merry

Please can two drowned rats from Todmorden come and join you at Marbury Park?  It is only 50 miles from Tod. but weather wise we would hope it is worlds apart.

Sorry to be on the last minute again but at least I got my nice new tyres fitted ready for my upgrade to 3850Kg.

 hi,have a look at the map ken provided as how to find the paddock once you have entered marbury park.you can fill up with water on entering the padock.and help yourself to plums from the trees that surround the paddock.
