| Great news mate, so please you are on the move again and now settled on a site, have a couple of sherbets and relax and just enjoy the drive back.
We called at the tunnel to change our ticket and they wanted €190 if we went right away, but the said if we waited 2 hrs it was €19 so gues what we did.
If you want too come home early than booked go too the "without ticket" booth and get the best price for changing your ticket.
Give Rina big hug from us and we will see as soon as we can when your home, and remember Germany in September is so easy but so beautiful, :-) | |

| we was on honfleur last night, parked up to the left of the shed, sitting outside last night and thought i seen a white cat,it was a white rat,so we concentrated on watching the 2 flower pots at the entrance,we have never seen so many rats, they was jumping horizontal onto the chain and then dissapearing into the flower pots, there was literally a hundred rats around the bin area .we left the aire this morning and went to le havre via deuville .now back on our site near honfleur. one tom tom for sale: | |

| The Story of our impisonment after breaking down , I will give an edited version , broke down on bank holiday Thursday, at the garage it was stripped to ascertain parts needed , the friday was also treated as bank hol and hardly anywhere was open, the garage was trying to order Alko parts , so on Monday I contacted my service garage Camper UK , and they confirmed it was Fiat Parts, , I emailed them pics of the stripped down axle and asked for part numbers for all the bits it would need to rebuild it , so I could give them to the garage to order parts , I made the mistake of in forming the RAC , while I was waiting for the part no's the Rac rang CamperUK and ordered the parts in my name without informing me of this , when I rang C UK tehy told me this and the parts would be sent out next day delivery on Tues so I would have them Wed, infact they arrived late on Fri , as soon as they arrived the garage fitted the backplate Hub and bearings and brake shoes and at 6'30 at night when they went to fit Brake Hub/disc they were the wrong part , First thing on Sat I rang C UK and they apologised and blamed it on Fiat , but gave me the correct part number , I gave this to the garage , but no suppliers open on Sat/Sun and Mon was another Bank holiday . I spoke to the RAC and they said it could be a problem sourcing a Fiat part quickly, I told them to explain to the garage (as my french is crap)that I dont care if it is not a Fiat part any aftermarket that was equivalent would do me , they rang the garage and told them . At 8.35 this morning the garage owner arrived with a pair of Bosch Disc/hub and continued to put things back , dont quite know what more I could have done , apart from telling the RAC to f off | |

| Yes it all went wrong from the minute they failed to take you to a Fiat dealer or the like. Any experienced mechanic would have recognised the parts as Fiat and not gotten embroiled in wasting time down the Alko route. Bosch make excellent brake parts BTW. EDIT I think we've all learnt a valuable lesson From Baz & Rina's hard won experience. Certainly if I'm unfortunate enough to need the AA I will be fore armed enough to insist on an appropriate garage.
