Free WiFi in Germany

Evening all. I have received a text from Jan (Elldwin) asking for information about free WiFi in Germany. I have been searching the net for most of the afternoon and cannot find much, can anyone offer any information as to where they can get some as she is experiencing withdrawal symptoms

I found some - here in Loswich !
Switch computer on and have a look, need a long range adaptor though - not a lot of free in Germany !.

Mcdonalds in Germany (same as France) does free wifi if they are near one, not very good for the weight though !

Have Jan and Barrie arrived back in the UK yet or are they still out here somewhere ?
Heard they'd had trouble with the Police and been fined for illegal towing...

Only spoke to Jan yesterday and they were in Bamburg so no chance they are home from there already, but certainly very interested in the the point they may have had a problem with the toad and the police, I never have had before but its 3 years since I toad in Germany so who knows what is going on.

We are still in Germany gradually working our way back to France meeting up with Tugga in about 10 days. Yes got fined €25 so we haven't towed since.

That is sad news Jan, never thought the Germans would fine you but was it purely for towing and not for something else

Yes definitely for towing, he said it was a new ruling which had just come in. We had an official receipt as well so it didn't go in his pocket.

Do not know how these countries can change a EU ruling like country of origin law, its not illegal in the UK so therefore we should be allowed freedom of travel under our UK rules.
