Another lovely start with blue sky - forecast for slightly warmer today although Allen ( wints) did say it was 29 c in the shade behind his van yesterday!!

Need to find supermarket today and stock up - pulled into one yesterday and got to entrance to find 2.5 m height barrier!!!

Today I was going to B& Q for soil and plants for my pots and baskets. But the question is should I bother

Lastvyearcwas a wash out with my plants

Might just go and have a look and decide when I am there

Might just see if my Hoover still works today as well

But for now time for cup of coffee number 2

Soil still in the car till I can get someone to help me get it out not as young as I use to be

Done my ironing and changed the duvet covers now just need to clean the van out

Going back to the plants I bought I bought a tray of hanging basket plants and it had instructions on what was in the tray and where a outs to plant them in the basket but it doesn't actually tell you what each plant is

Wanted to do some jigsaw but Izzy had different ideas

Was a beautiful day yesterday-sorted loads of stuff and then tackled some of the weeding-working in shirt sleeves till quite late!
Has rained overnight but is now brightening again so might get more done outside
Do need to repaint tow bar it had a couple of nasty scrapes whilst we were away-why do they have a steep slope onto the aire off the road??

I spent most of yesterday with rubber gloves on

last time I saw an oven like that Andy -it was new!--What did you use-other than rubber gloves!
Managed to paint tow bar after a good cleaning down -two coats of black hammerite, cleaned boat ,car and house windows
Also flushed out clean and waste water tanks

I used 2 cans of mr muscle which I later found to be no where near as effective as the other product that comes in a bottle in a box with a big plastic bag gloves and sponge forgot the name but you pour half the bottle contents into the bag and put your racks and trays in it
Put the rest in the oven bottom and spread it al over with the sponge
Takes hours but works

It wasn't this name but exact same process

i have Dr Magic Oven Sense same thing i recon

I just get a nice young man in once every 6 months. My oven, hob and extractor all gets a good clean.

Works for me on various levels

Lovely start here - good job as off walking later -9 mile plus and up a few hills -that should work off some of the wine and the Camembert
Have half packed the van ready for leaving Thursday-but not done any decorating Pauline was hoping I was doing!

Bon Jour, a lovely start here as well but lots of dark clouds not far away so making the most of early morning sun, enjoy your walk Pete I don't need too walk the wine and Camembert off as I abstained quite a lot this trip

Hi all had bit of problem yesterday past kidney stone or to while walking with baily manage to get home thfn 999 now in hospital waiting for mri scan as some thing else go wrong so they say .bazza you think french garage bad they must have served there time here and the chef should be hung for crimes against food

Hope everything is ok mick, good luck with the scan, hope it doesn't show up anything serious

We have got spanish students arriving today for the next 5 weeks hopefully we will learn a bit of spanish, Julie back to work next week as well.
Spain feels like a distant memory and only been back a week since home .

Today I will get my suitcase out and start to. Pack as we only have 5 more sleeps before we go to cala Dor Majorca for my first package holiday

I am not doing bad as I only had my first trip on a plane 2 years ago

But I do enjoy the ferry cause that means my motorhome comes with me

Rained all day yesterday and still raining this morning grey cold looking after son small holding for next 10 day as they are of to egypt 40 deg yesterday there n ow thats warm

Grey and miserable here today but at least its dry, yesterday was quite a nice day so I tackled the extra long grass , took me 4 times longer than normal to cut , I must be out of shape as now I have a bad back

Lovely start here and the gardeners are coming around doing the grass and flower beds so when they go I will paint the radiator in the bathroom so Barb will stop nagging me

Morning all, well Baza no fog here just wall to wall although I think I can hear a fog horn in the distance, sorry, it was Barb shouting me for her early morning cuppa.

Going off for the weekend if we can find somewhere local and by the seaside, so have a good weekend whatever your up to.
