plan to grab a few hours kip saturday morning at cite europe before visiting pidou then heading for the 3 aires at Lac du der

Andy, when at Pidou's got too the far left hand isle right into the corner and there is a pallet of Bordeaux wine that Patrick (the boss) recommends and its beautiful and just a little over €2 a bottle.

Ta Ken we'll do our best. Probably stay two nights at Lac du Der, there's a cycle track all the way around and 3 aires to photograph

Get us some new members - but only them that can type in English

Torrential rain all the way to Folkestone. All tunnel traffic delayed an hour . Arrived in France after 2 a.m. Stayed at cite Europe as knackerd . Quick shop and straight on motorway to Lac du Der
Fair bit of sun en route but high winds and heavy rain showers frequent. Cycling around the lake tomorrow . Getting some down the neck now

Put the tomtom away it's Poo compared to my older garmin 465T

Well it must be about 6 degrees here so not even got the bikes out. Tried all three aires but not sure where to head tomorrow as the weather just looks sh1te everywhere but Leeds lol

Lac du Der and surprisingly the sun has come out while watching the Grand Prix on bbc1 hd :-)

I'm somewhere South of St Etienne
En route from Calais I've visited Lac du Der 3 aires and found 2 new ones that seem to be very much improved over their out of date satellite views on Google.
Camargue is next stop tomorrow and 2 aires there.
Working around the coast to Valras Narbonne Gruissan Leucate aires before going cross country via Millau over to the West. So lots of galleries to add when I'm returned.

Weather has been Spanish (el crappo) apart from 20 degrees yesterday. Torrential rain today again too.

andy if in camargue the aires at st marie de la mer there are 2 aires 107 108 we like 108 best nice town you can see thousands of birds there and the bull runing through the town chaseing the young men and women beach front

yes there are mosi they only cane out at night... tiger barm ..rapido in van sorted

Andy if youre going to narbonne the aire which holds 100 units was closed (ie shut down) when we were there, might be worth going straight to gruissan??

No mark it is now open 1st of June to September as I emailed their tourist office last week
