No TV picture from this 40cm Camos even 250 mile further North!

i had all my pictures in agde. and my dish dish is 30cm.

Had some pictures down in Spain but never got 1,2,3,4,5, until well up into France.

that was before i accidently leant on it on sunday afternoon while cleaning the roof.

result=dome smashed into 12 pieces.after much glueing {like a jigsaw}i got it into a dome again ,only when i was trying to get back onto my feet my knee went through the bottom of the dome{a complete new hole} .

so on to the internet.found a replacement for 110 pound.but i am going to superglue over the cracks and see what happens before i get the inevitable new one.

i should have left it up to margarita

ps.dont lean on the dome,they are very very brittle

Frank, get in touch with Andrew at Roadpro as they have spare domes that come of replacement faulty domes, I got a brand new one of them a while ago as the one I had had a small crack in it, may even get it for free + P.&P.

i will ring them asap.thanks bob.

Got tv now but it's very delicate, I think the skew is not spot on. I'll play with it when the wind is more friendly. Had 20 degrees today and a very long winding drive through the Ardeche

Wifey has had a shower and dried her hair , now relaxing in Jim jams watching spring watch unsprung .

spoke to road pro and as soon as they get a used one in stock they will ley me know.so pleased with the outcome.

ps.always thought mine was a 30cm but on measuring it its 40cm as you measure from the roof,and not just the dome. as the good man in road pro told me how to measure it.

Spent yesterday at gruissan today at leucate
23 degrees and clear bright sun but 40 hrs of high winds and no sign of it letting up. Beach beautiful and abandoned

High wind still persisting so now at Millau aire laughing at all trying to get in, yes even the French lol.
Nice and sheltered sun trap 26 degrees
Going to spend another day here before heading north west

Glad to see you've found some shelter out of the wind...26 though a good temp, not too hot, not too cool!.

At Gastes aire now on west coast .
30 degrees yesterday at Millau, probably about that today here.

Found a great le clerc stop on the n10 with 7 bays for Motorhomes and a €2 service point. Diesel 1.25

not to bad that andy looks east enough to repair,i have repaired my dome while i wait for a new one,cost 77cents from chino shop in benibongo,wouldnt even think it was in 15 pieces,hopefully its watertight ,are you going to repair it or get a new corner.theres a lot to be said for bumpers.

I'll repair it when I have the time and gained the knowledge of appropriate material as its plastic not GRP

At wissant today and tracked down a FON wifi spot here too. Fort Philippe tomorrow morning before going to pidou off junction 48 for booze and overnight before tunnel. Got a three week job to start in the bullring on Monday

 Andy try the Golden Bridge Californian wine, I got 12 bottles for Barb  (6 white n 6 rose) ans they are really good quality at the right price, wish I had got more

Looks like coates d rhone or corbiers 1.66 a bottle when we were there, I'm on it as we speak 

If Patrick is on duty ask him for a sample of the red, you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality and price

At grand forte philipe picking up a FON spot just stood outside the van

Called at pidou and we were not impressed at all. All the lagers were more expensive than any supermarkets we've been in and poor selection. Wine was mainly non French. Monkey shoulder whiskey was €29 and we've already bought two bottles from le clerc and Carrefour for under €22 infact at Carrefour under €20 on promotion. The leffe royal was €2 dearer etc etc etc

Must admit thought france was a bit pricey compared to spain, we only bought red from pidou
