I have read some glowing reports of this garage and the owner Glyn Manton on another forum, they are based near Preston Lancs so very convenient for the north west area and they take the larger M/Hs as well.

They do all kinds of repairs, and diagnostic checks and they can MOT your M/H as well at their premises so for me its a one stop shop.

They specialise in Mercedes engines and chassis, but they are also Fiat and Peugeot experts as well as all other sizes and types of M/H.

I have NO connection with this company other than talking too them about the kind of work they do.

Don't like merc to thirsty ducato might not be as well made but much plenty miles to gallon

I have a Peugeot 2.2 I get 29.5 to gallon

I think my fiat 3 litre is an IVECO unit?
Whatever it gives me over 24 which is good for over 4 ton

i though the new shape fiats and peugeots use ford engines and running gear strange because is ant iveco ford to

I think all the later fiat engines and ivecos are italian manufactured & were built mainly in good old Dagenham, but don't know where now?

I really dont care where or who builds them , what I do know is that you have to keep putting in copious amounts of diesel in them , just to line the coffers of the chancellor affraid

the chancellor dont get the money but thats another tread off topic

There should be a section to put valuable info like this so it stays as a sticky, so it is available a a glance for all to see , we all need good info like this

Good idea Baza, I will ask Ken for a sub division for useful web address's so we can collect them all in one place.

Good idea Baza, I will ask Ken for a sub division for useful web address's so we can collect them all in one place. As you will see I have not mastered the quote bit yet , but all info even when not local to yourself is handy cos if something goes wrong when away from home it would be handy to have a data base of repairers in all areas
