For anyone heading abroad this winter they may like to know that satellite tele. is still available as normal. Apparently the new satellites have not yet been launched, no idea when they will be.

We are presently within a whisker of Aquitaine and have a brilliant signal from Astra 2

We are slowly heading to Spain and Portugal so I will try to keep you informed as to signal quality as we head down.   Just wish the weather was as good as the satellite signal because at the moment it is more reminiscent of Todmorden weather

Should've gone more souther young man!
We're near Montelimar and the signal is almost off the graph, will need to tell sky to turn the wick down!!

And, the big AND, the weather is fab, has been since we got south of Lyon yesterday.

Oh yes, more free net access!!!!

We are working our way south but keep getting waylaid, tomorrow we go to my sisters at, or near to Bergerac and she will have a long list of chores awaiting us. When we leave there we have to decide upon a route to Spain or even Portugal-------does it matter?
