Easter at Weston Park - 17th to 22nd April

Come and join us for 5 nights at Weston park, Weston-Under-Lizard, Nr Shifnal, Shropshire, TF11 8PX

Arrive Thursday 17th, leave site Tuesday 22nd.
We need 10 units for this meet
£9 per van per night + a one off payment of £5 for the transport show, plus the usual £1 per person rally fee
Water + Elsan, no EHU
Every year at Easter they hold the "Midland Festival of Transport" so on top of the rally fee's there will be a payment of £5 per vehicle for entry.
Event Description: Regulars need no introduction to the No. 1 Easter Event in the UK, now in it's twenty sixth year for this popular and super show which features over 1500 vehicles, 18,000 visitors, large autojumble and trade-stand area. Funfair, Simulators and Inflatables plus various activities in the main Arena.

Access - The Shrewsbury lodge gate (main entrance) should be used for all rallies. Any day visitors to the rally will have to pay the entrance fee and use the public car park. All entrance gates are normally locked between 11:00pm and 07:00 am.
There is strictly no access to the woodland bounding the rally site

The BBC also say sun as well so it sun & showers so when we are socialising just bring brollies for the showers so our drinks dont get diluted.

If you are accessing the site from the A5 after coming from the M6
Go past the Weston Park entrance which is on the A5, carry on till you get to this junction

Just packed everything into the car ready for a quick dash when I finish work, dogs got all excited thinking they were going away. hopefully see you all tonight depending on bank holiday traffic but it should be ok by the time I set off

Shrewsbury Gate then follow Shrewsbury drive through grounds when you reach the house on the left turn right by TCC sign follow to next junction turn right again carry on over cattle grid we are on first rally field on left.

Yes ken it is - you can help us out if you like ! It had a new burner and jet and worked last time we used it but now it won't light. ;-)

Nice sunny morning here at Weston Park, better get up and level the van, was too late and too dark to be messing about when we arrived yesterday.
This place is much bigger than I expected, we must have drove a mile since coming through the gate

Has the Boules competition started yet!, If not can we start tomorrow?

Another superb Motorhomers Rally.  Lucky with the weather for most of the weekend.  Thank You Ken and Adele for all your hard work.

A big step for me, and I enjoyed catching up with friends old and new. enjoyed the rally despite the ever changing weather and looking forward to the next one that I can get to, ( project pending ).

Thank you all for attending a very enjoyable long weekend, thoroughly enjoyed seeing friends old & new, the transport rally was excellent with some cracking classic & vintage cars. I think Bazza (Eldwin) was going to p/x his smart car in for a lovely Austin 7   .
Thank you ken & Adele for organising this one well worth having another rally here again! & thanks for the hot × bun just the right amount of butter mmm.
We will have to find a better Boules pitch next time, it was a bit bumpy   .
