Close to local amenities and park and ride for Bridlington or easily walkable

Directions to site
Head for Bridlington park and ride.
If entering via Carnaby past John Bull rock makers. At the roundabout after the John Bull turn left. At the next roundabout turn right towards park and ride. The road is fenced with high wooden plank/panels - at the next small roundabout turn right travelling down a narrow road. Follow the road until you arrive at two semi houses on the left and a gate on the right and in front of you.
The post code is YO15 3QL
the coordinations of the field are N54' 03.594" W0' 12.801"

Weather forecast says cloudy and cooler on Friday - but not at Wilsthorpe cos we have our own climate.

It is nice today .Peter....sunny and blue....  it's  been a good meet .great members with lots of fun with lots of banter..  ...the weather has been good except for I day it rained....I just hope the other meet in France the tuba players umpa umpa umpa  have not got the UMP for missing a good turn out of members with lots of   with Phill producing some of the Michelin  supreme breakfast dishes...I hope the French connection are having a good time with good weather, and my French neighbours are looking after them....with plenty of spirit....and wine of course ..,   ooops sorry  hope to see you all soon...
 

Speaking of French, I like French toast, or I used to, but I thought it was bread dipped in beaten eggs and fried but looking at our French Chefs efforts it is something totally different that I don't want to taste

Hi, I have just spoke to Pete,
Thursday night - Bingo
Friday night - Raffle
Saturday night - American supper

Woh....what's happened?.....Woke up to overnight rain, a very dull and grey sky!!  That's after a cracking week of sun & sun & sun & heat!!
Good night in the beer tent, but how did Pete conjure up that 1st ticket out of the bucket?  Yes, it was his!!
And after that container full of 'punch' headaches may rule today!
Good turnout as well.

Yes and American Supper at 1830hrs  

It appears we ( I mean you at Bridlington) have overcome in adverse conditions the return of the Motor-Homers Boules challenge cup fro those pesky French members, so sorry Mel n Christine for your humiliation but there's always next year, by the way your French peche do not like we English fishermen so you have some sweet conculation.

Yes Bob we have had a great time ..Lovely people..And yes.. Knocked out in the first round.. By Mick & David. Well played Mick & Derek  ....although Chris is up in arms about it and wanting a stewards enquiry...she is furious about missing first prize.... the "Bag Humbugs".....she blames the Kidney they removed a few months ago made her lob sided..throwing her off balance   ....

Been sat out in brilliant warm sunshine  
Oh yes I have - went with Colin for lunch and then down by the Bridlington harbour for an icecream and although there was cloud over Wilsthorpe, Bridlington was under a clear blue sky.

Great meet, good company, thanks to all who participated.
Very grey ride back to Lancs along A59, bit of drizzle around Pendle, then brighter nearer Leyland.
