5. Southport Airshow 2014 - 18th to 22nd Sept 2014

First topic message reminder :

I have got 10 spaces for the 2014 Southport airshow, parking on the pleasureland car park
Booked for 4 nights, arrive Thursday the 18th, leave site on Monday the 22nd, you don't have to stay all 4 nights though.

I have enquired about booking the new parking area as Bob mentioned, but it is up to the site owner what happens with that and he hasn't decided what that is yet.

£40 for the weekend which covers you from Friday through to Monday morning
Friday and Saturday night only is still £40
One night only is £20
Anyone wanting to go on Thursday or stay on Monday will be charged the usual £8 per night for those nights

Your rally marshall for this meet is ?

We will be arriving Friday late afternoon/ early evening. Leaving Sunday, again late afternoon / early evening. Looking forward to meeting you all

Barbara has asked me if you can all put a note in your windscreens saying you are with Motor-Homers and when you will be leaving

It will only be an extra £1 in rally fees but she will have to sort parking out, best speaking to Barbara when on site and see what they are charging, tried getting an extra van space but they won't allow it, say they are full and have a reserve list

John and Christine aren't going to the airshow now, Barbara wanted vehicle lengths and registration details, when I give them John and Christines length and told them about the trailer they wanted an extra £5 per day, can't say I blame them either, if it was parked width ways behind the van it wouldn't be any longer than the biggest van attending

Just had an email off Barbara Polly and will be replying in a minute so I will ask her, but according to the email she sent me regarding Johns trailer, they charge £7 per day and would charge £5 in his case because it was pre booked

Yeah you can do but I usually go in on one day just to look round all the stalls etc

I've booked Tattershall Lakes country park for three nights after Southport £33.60 for serviced pitch. Then onto Lincoln show for 4 days

I told her when we were down to 9, was just leaving it till after weekend then going to close it and let her know

Polly, it will take you ages to get out of Southport on Sunday teatime, the traffic will be horrendous, Can you not leave it until early evening when it has quietened down.

Sorry to say Andy but you might have wasted a bit of paper, some ink and a bit of your time

Barbara emailed me today and there is a change of plan, here's the message
"We are making a slip out for each unit to display where it can be seen .
So they will all have to go into  Reception as they come on .
                         
Therefore it will probably be better if they pay at the same time .

Also can you let me know if any of your campers will be leaving early Sunday morning then we don't block them in ,

Good luck to them with that idea, alright if they turn up nice and steady but will cause chaos on the gate if a few arrive together, especially on Saturday when the cars are coming in too
