| Just trying the water here,
Would there be interest for meets between Monday's & Friday's.
The reason I'm asking this is that as a working couple we have to work weekend's. | |

| John and I would be interested, now he. Is retired and I'm self employed....we are looking forward to getting the new van next week which will be well equipped for winter meets... Good idea...as alternative to weekends. Thanks | |

| I suppose it begs the question is it feasible for us to have longer meets occasionally say starting on friday to run for 10 days ending on the following Sunday??

| If it costs the club nothing, then why not. Shouldn't be a problem having a different marshal during the course of the event .. (as long as we can get some one to marshal that is !)  | |

So having week days with weekends would work for you sometimes then?, ie double your chances | |

| Problem I see with this is, are we big enough to hold 10 day meets? have had to cancel 3 rallies this year, can't see site owners being very happy if we book for 10 days and there is no one there for half of it, we have a 9 day meet at Bridlington, 6 day at Bournemouth, agree its something we need to try but it does worry me a little.
And we try and plan 2 meets per month, a ten day meet would mean 3 weekends in a month, would we get members at so many?

| On looking at the response to this thread looks like there definitely is intrest.
We are obviously trying to run 2 meets a month & I dont see too much problem in making them 6 nights/7 day meets on some of them if not all, giving everyone a chance to attend we would probably need 2 marshals for these meets, members can be added to a list stating arrival & departure etc...
What do others think about this?? | |

| I personal think it would be nice to find a nice green field site attached to a cl 5 van site E.G like the one on Cannock chase TRY DO A DEAL with owner keep it open for two weeks as a ths advertise it on other sites to get numbers | |
