| We went to Rudesheim am Rheine for 6 days (stopping in Belgium on way out and back) and did their excellent Christmas Market. Went with Elldwin & Baldy Bazza. Had a superb time, can recommend the market but didn't see any Stellplatz in the area, we stayed in a hotel. Since we got back it has been a round of washing, ironing, cleaning and shopping. Oh and wrapping pressies and writing cards! How did I find time to go to work full time | |

Van is ready for next outing as I have cleaned inside and washed the bedding and washed the throws
Out for lunch today with my brother and his wife
Managed some jigsaw puzzle. I lasted a week without one on the go but gave in
Going watching out Ethan in the semi final football match tomorrow morning brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
And to warm myself up I. The afternoon will do my ironing
And on Sunday if not to cold will take Gladys to see our little man for a wash on the outside
Busy busy busy but I don't seem to do anything until you look back at what you have done

| Been busy moving from ************ to motorhomers and from there getting a feel for the fora, familiarising myself with names and posting pictures, nice website but more used to the v bulletin type as ours is (technical forum), takes a little getting used to. Found a way of fitting my dash cam that doesn't need velcro, cement (as someone suggested in another thread lol), drilling, screwing or super glue, just trap the "foot" underneath the spring loaded centre thingy, doesn't move at all, is easily removed for security and playback. Cleaned the van out and mopped the floor, put on the heating to warm it up and left the door open to give it an airing in the thin winter sun. Sounds like I will need an engine battery very soon, been a bit suspect for a few weeks now. Wired in a 4 gang cigarette type socket from the leisure batteries and mounted it behind the passenger seat for easy access, concealed the cables behind the trim, you wouldn't know it was there. So many things come with the ciggy plug now, sat nav, dash cam, phone charger, 12v TV etc. so I thought a 4 gang to be very useful. | |

We have an Autotrail Cheyenne 840 SE, sold a Kontiki 640 (I think might have been a 645?) because you had to wreck the inside to make two very uncomfortable beds just to wake up after a bad nights sleep to face the wreckage and put it all back again. Being tall (6 foot 3 inches) the bed was a trifle short for me and with a bad back it was a tad to hard apart from that the Kontiki was a great machine.
