Evening homers Xmas market in lincoln where is the best campsite nearest the market.we are leaving a week tomorrow to do the German markets in berlin . then wen we come back the weekend after the Lincoln markets is on cheers guys and gals

I have search on numerous occasions and there is nothing apart from car parks close enough to walk comfortably, and I assume you do know that part of the market is on Steep Hill " and believe me it is Steeeeeeeeeeeeeep

Apart from the town itself, the area is pancake flat so you could ride in. We have rode in from Brownhills whilst we waited for the van to be repaired.

The Linconshire DA normally has a temporary holiday site near Lincoln and lays on buses to get you to the market and back again. If memory serves it's at a garden centre about 4 miles out of Lincoln.
The one time we booked holidays and booked the THS the market was snowed off and we were snowed in at Brownhills for 3 days.
