| Morning Homers
Moving on today towards St Pol de Leon, just over a week to go before we come back to the UK. Woke up to a shower this morning so I think our good spell of lovely weather is over but we have been really lucky this trip so far.

| Good Morning Homers Definitely cold Peter. I felt all the symptoms as it came on. Must keep taking the Lem Sip Haven't been out yet but it looks dull no sun. Where is the meet this weekend Peter. I could attend and give my cold as a raffle prize Any thing to lose it. Ken hope going back to work following the Bridlington meet wasn't too much of a shock to your system. | |

| Jan we have been lucky with the weather in the UK but the weather forecast indicates cooler conditions with some rain.
The forecast at the time of the Tour De Yorkshire (France) in our local area, is rain. That should keep the crowds down. Although the Yorkshire Councils have the attitude if people or vehicles are stood on the highway, on the day of the bike race, they will be fined. Welcome to rip off Britain. Doubt anyone will come back to Yorkshire.

| His As some of you are aware my beautiful face as had a nasty blemish on it. It all started with 2 spots that began to get angry so in the end doctor referred me to hospital where I was told it was Solar Kenotoses (which you can get over the years of sun exposure) anyway doc gave me cream and told me it will get worse before it gets better ( one of mt mums sayings) well it did get worse . Today I went back to the hospital and was given another cream to sort out my skin and he didn't seem concerned. Infact we were talking about where I had been or going and Scotland. At least it hadn't turned into something else So I am a happy bunny, so much so I went shopping at Matalan and now I am a happy skinti bunny My 2 spots [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Good morning Homers This cold will not go away although I am much better than last week. Forecast here is sun and more sun but rain for the weekend just in time for Tour De France bike race. Think all the locals will be pleased when the race is over as the roads concerned are closed from midnight 4/5th July making it impossible to either enter or leave the TDF route. | |

| Good morning Homers. Been too hot to sleep here even with the windows open. Feels like a thunderstorm but not forecast. All the news here relates to Tour De France which leaves Leeds on Saturday and finishes in Harrogate via the Yorkshire Dales - quite near us. Fortunately we are not affected by the 24 hour road closures.

Oh well what a lovely morning
Tomorrow afternoon I am going over to Nottingham (somewhere) to watch our Georgey race
Watched him practise last night and Rob took on the role of official photographer
As you know George as been riding Kawaski 85 sw this year (since Jan)
Well what a surprise when his dad turned up. Carl told him to get changed. George come to get his bike which for some reason out of sight. Well I could hear George , yes yes yessing and love love loving and when I took a look he was kissing kissing kissing a new KTM 85 Bw
He was over the moon was an understatement
Oh he was so so happy even his dad got a love and a thank you.
So a few goes round the track running it in and by the time we were going he was in his element.
The only bad news was Carl broke down on his way home and now will be in the camper with me at weekend should be fun
Oh 2 Kawaski BW for sale not sure is one is still small wheel

| Good morning Homers. Polly that was a lovely surprise for George. Hope he wins many events on his new bike. Still recovering following our visit to the Great Yorkshire Show yesterday. Was an early start to try and beat the traffic queues going to the show. We eventually arrived about 8.20 am and watched pampered bulls being judged. The cattle are prepared by washing and their coats then they are blow dried. Even the bulls tails had been brushed and combed. We really enjoyed our shopping and tasting cheeses we can't buy locally. Samples of food were readily available and you could have a free lunch in the food centre. However we had been invited to have lunch at one of the stands prior to going to the show. Sitting in the hospitality marquee was heaven to the feet and legs by this time. The food wasn't bad either. But the best part about the show was we had our tickets given and when I costed the entry fee I nearly fainted. £25 each but as concessions it would have been a pound cheaper! Oh and Princess Anne was there but we didn't see her. | |

| What a morning - went to Dentist then came home and motorhome wouldn't start - had to call garage and get it started . Took it for MOT and they had to stop it part way through the test and of course it wouldn't start again! Took nearly an hour to get it started and then Mot was completed - it passed thank goodness but now I need a new battery! | |

Morning all
Took yesterday to get myself back to myself what a lazy day Besides washing the bedding and putting it back into the van didn't do out
Today not moving very quick as yet
Did I mention about Friday night not going to bed till after 12 ( George was out for the count by 9-30n) Then up at 6-30
After George's first race our personnel chef had BBQ the bacon, so bacon barn cakes all round. I asked someone the time and was told it was 11-20 I thought or hoped it was bed time I was shattered
Oh well think it must have caught up with me

We went of to the vets and yes we ended up down sime country roads in the wrong direction we met a farmer on the narrow roads lucky this one had passing places as such. We asked him where's abouts was Whiteland he suggested we go down to the farm turn around and follow him. Well we were glad he was in front. We thanked him and he also cursed the new by pass ( maybe for different reasons than us) The vets were very nice and thou roughly examined Izzy who had a temperature and tenderness of the abdormin Well after 2 injections and a handful of anti biotics and some peppermint liquid and £60 less in my purse and if she's no better today to take her back and they will put her on a drip and keep her in.
Well no early morning walk for us in the night she slept through and this morning she is nearly back to normal well she is drinking still a little subdued but not shaking or jerking.
Well damp morning so what shall we do today . Breakfast first

Our Claire as mastered these famers tracks so thought we would let her loose on Pendine Sands maybe try for a land speed record. Wel on the other hand maybe not as tide was in Dogs allowed on beach so a lovely sandy afternoon n the beach Today we had another day on the beach at Saundersfoot and yes dogs were able to access Copis Beach so what we thought was going to be a wet cloudy day as turned out to be a sunny hot day I want to take the kids to a woodland but waiting for an iffy day for that Oh well glass of wine time now

Been busy with a mountain of paperwork now to enjoy the hot sunny weather. Typical rain is forecast.
Ken saw a remote control plane being flown yesterday and thought of you.
You would have been green - when the plane landed after 30mins flying, the man picked it up and it was as tall as him! Then we noticed another model plane on the roof of a car which had a wing span just over the 4x4 width.
