These updates by Apple are becoming a nuisance as every time I do one something is missing in the download, just upgraded to yosemite on my Mac and now the printer does not work as Apple did not do the upgrade correctly, not on my own as the forums are hopping mad about it but there is no fix for the time being, and I cannot use my printer.

It us the first time I was a little frightened of the winds outside. I ended up pulling the duvet over my head. I must have dosed off
Listening to the planes struggling last night as they were coming into land.
It's amazing how I don't really notice the planes just the odd one. But last night was different

Hope everyone has come through the gales unscathed.  Still windy here with occasional showers.

Not feeling happy   Colin washed his clothes in washer this morning, then I put my whites in and the washer doesn't work  .  Although the lights are on it doesn't fill with water and the drum doesn't rotate.

Looking on the bright side washer breakdown may have come at the right time as we have the new kitchen plan drawn up.  Now thinking integrated units 

Had to work in the van today with the door closed, blowing a gale and flippin freezing!

Getting a few minor jobs sorted out today on the van ready for the summer season, Weather forecast from Monday next week looks like 13 degrees &  In the south.
Looks like Iit might be a couple of degrees warmer in France!

Weather been dry but windy here today. Been out shopping for paint with Dad. Can't stop him and hope I can still decorate if I reach the 90s.

After doing some research on the Internet last night we think we can repair the washer. Parts duly ordered on Internet and should arrive tomorrow. Would prefer to keep this washer going because it's hot and cold fill. Fingers crossed.

Hope all the Homers have enjoyed the Easter break.  

Following a very rainy Good Friday the weather picked up here on Saturday and the sun has shone ever since.  Infact it was warmer here than for friends who went to France for Easter!!!

So the sun shone and I thought it was time to wash the motorhome roof has I have done in the past via the rear heki roof light.  Used the same steps placed under the said roof light and climbed to the top slowly.  Only coming down was rather rapid as I fell from the top onto the rear lounge seats.  I have rather a lot of bruises but otherwise was just in shock.  So now looking for volunteers to wash motorhome roof in the future or it will stay dirty!!!

Had a good easter Joyce a laugh and a few drinks ( well you know what were like )it's the homers gang . Hope your alright joyce don't be going up there again get somebody else to do it x

Could have a Homers competition who gets my motorhome cleaned first.  

Didn't realise bruises could hurt so much.  But I'm ok really can still lift a glass    Just don't want to admit how old I am and still trying to do things I was doing 30years ago.

Did the body first Polly with a soft brush but thought I should look to see what the roof was like.  

Perhaps the dirty motorhome roof will keep me warm in winter

I'm having a lazy morning this morning still sat in the kitchen with the patio doors open
Yesterday I had Thi chi followed by a quick nosey round our odds and sods shop
Then home tickle round the garden
Then went to pick our George up to take him up to the track for a practise. Then after watching him, his mum and I left the boys with their toys ( was busy) 
We went to decathlon to take something back and I found some sanders for my holidays. Then we nipped over to B&Q to look for my galvanised buckets where we found the last 2 so with my discount they worked out about £7-20 each .
Home to feed a starving Izzy 
So today it is a lazy day 
Just been checking the trams for Monday as I have Ethan and Tilly so we will go on the tram for a day out to Bury
Oh yes I know how to live 

I was hoping to have a lazy morning too Polly.

But we had repaired the washer last night all for the princely sum of £2.98!!!  99p was postage.  So this morning was spent putting a weeks worth of dirty laundry through the washer. 

Thank goodness we have a lovely warm sunny day here and able to dry the washing outside.

Mowing the back lawn
Strumming the edges
Planting and sorting some plants
Picking up leaves from the neighbours trees
Washing my Mays from the use at weekend 
My back felt it was going to split so now having half an hour before I go out to tidy up

But garden looks good

Lovely dry sunny day here again.

Still testing washer out so more washing on the line.

Good morning on this windy ( not beans) Sunday

Yesterday I was so busy de cluttering the motorhome

Emptied the back box ready to take it off as I don't want to pay the extra on the ferry as it brings me over 6 mts

Cupboards sorted and under seats , bathroom, under the stove 
Oh forgot the dashboard cubbyhole

Then it was a case of where do I put it all 
Yes in the spare bedroom

Summer carpet down looking good but it always does even if I say so myself

So a busy day yesterday 
Today out shopping with kiddys for there summer/ holiday clothes. Might have a look while I am there , well it would be rude not to

Oh might need some throws for the van

Grandkids having a sleep over tonight as I am kiddy sitting tomorrow

We'll be doing our decluttering in the next day or two, going through every cupboard and see what we can get rid of, bought a mountain bike last week and was busy fitting that yesterday, not an easy task when you have a back box on but made it easier by buying a folding one so it fits on the ladder now I've fabricated a bracket for it.

Not much doing here as its snowing, very wet snow, yuk!

took my throws into the van and they seem a little larger not alot but definatley larger.
maybe because they are new , give them a few washers and trips in the dryer then i will be pulling and pushing them

going to go and get another wow 32-20 pushing the boat out mind you they were only £3 in the first place but if like my last ones laster a few years
oh so yes getting another to make a couple of cushion covers, yes i know they wont match the old ones but hey ho

You certainly been busy Polly.

Went shopping to garden centre on Saturday for some flowering evergreen shrubs for the top of the garden. Came away with eight. Managed to get one planted on Saturday before it became too cold. Just another eight to plant. Now where has Colin disappeared to ....

Getting itchy feet now and motorhome is ready for the off but waiting for a parcel to come first from Amazon. Should be here tomorrow morning then I am going north.

Hi Polly, all snow gone, in fact the sun came out about 4, and it got reasonably warm, such weird weather at this time of the year. Good travels in Ecosse.

Still in benibongo the weather is not the best.i think this will be our last year here at el raco,my nose hasn't even peeled once,off to San Sebastián as soon as the weather gets a bit hotter up there.ps 2 dogs for sale.

Frank have been away for just a few days and although i used factor 30 my nose has peeled!!

Back from York last night. Lovely restful hot sunny weekend.

Motorhome. Been serviced this morning at home and now the sun is out again giving me 'itchy' feet for the off again. Now where to go this weekend??

What a busy week I have had.  This is the first day I haven't been out - yet!  Tuesday medical appointment, Wednesday a Tow Show, Thursday hair done and shopping.  Phew!!  Better catch up with some paperwork.
