Well I was right - it rained after I finished polishing!
Sorted out my towing lights and fitted a new Status 560 aerial and connected it up so Pauline will be happy !

Well the lawn is cut and garden looking a little respectable.
My small pots that have flowers in have gone on holiday to my neighbours. Well they might as well enjoy the flowers till I come home

My gas man came to replace the washer in my gas hose.
He said while we are at it change the other stainless steel  gaslow pipe washer and the ? Can't remember what he called it , but the main connection. The one at the main connection wasn't to bad but the washer in the other hose had ripped. So a good shout about changing
 all.
Weather kept dry for us thank goodness.

Just bought my motorhome insurance from C&CC 
And my car insurance the other day 
That's what I call bad planning both being due on the same day

Another mixed day but no rain but sunshine

Last night our Carl came round to take my back box off and while unscrewing the nuts and bolts and channeling as he does, we noticed that the bike frame had lost a couple of its bolts and was lose.
So out came the gluey stuff to see if that works, till we orI take it off and have something more permanent to fill the holes

So could have a bike rack and back box to sell when I come home

Evening all, just thought I would share our good news - we are going to be Grandparents at the end of October.  We are very excited (well I am, not sure about Mick yet)

Woke up to find the lawn had turned white! Yes we had a frosty night to greet the 1st May!!

Tour de Yorkshire sets off from Bridlington at 11.45 this morning and finishes in Scarborough later this afternoon. The route travels via Dalby Forest. A total of 108 miles.

After all that gardening I've been laid flat in bed with a painful back - perhaps you heard me scream when trying to walk. Just taking it easy now as the worst of the pain appears to have gone. 

Appear to have missed the best of the weather.

Told Colin I could manage better in motorhome but he didn't take the hint

Not at all Peter but I have my itchy feet on and I am away asap.  Just waiting for an appointment to appear then I'm in motorhome and off for a week.  Have to come back for another assessment - then I'm away again - I hope.

Also hopeful this cloud will blow away and let the sun shine through again.

Oh I see I have my name down for the next four Homers meets.  Can life get any better.

As I say I don't mind getting older its the package that comes with it I object to lol

B&M didn't have the bathroom storage I wanted BUT they did have a bread board that might do for my work top thingy in the van

Can opener
And small mallet for our TILLY when we have our family time away sothern can have a mallet each

Oh dear the bread board is to small but would have looked nice. Back to the drawing board

Been to Dr's for results of kidney tests. Results not good. Have to go for more blood tests in a couple of weeks or so.

Today was that day, warm sunny, very little breeze, so off with the wheels one by one for respraying. Ye gods them wheel nuts were on tight - too tight, so now there on properly and looking very nice. Now, just a few more days like this and I can get some stuff done.
              

Did you get them powder coated debbie or just sprayed them?

It's wall to wall sunshine here and 15 degrees which is higher than some of the all day temperatures last week. I announce summer is here.

Polly hope your phone is working soon.

Plusnet emailed me Wednesday to say I was near my 10gb internet limit. Couldn't believe it as I have only used internet for 2 weeks out of 4. However when I was away over half gb was used. Colin doesn't do internet and computers were switched off. Spooky!! However it's worked in my favour as I now have unlimited internet for 12 months for ........ free! Then 9.99 for eight months. Have land line with Plusnet at 15 pounds something. I am happy cos if things go wrong Plusnet have one person who deals with the problem and you speak to them only and the call centre is in Yorkshire not India.

Unlike BT which ironically Plusnet is part of.

Hi Ken, it turned out cheaper to buy new rims by quite a big margin, so I kept the best of the old for a spare which I am refurbishing, and I resprayed the new rims to get more paint on them.

Just got back from a four day jaunt in deepest Lancashire. Caught up with two friends I havn't seen for a while, and proper enjoyed my little self, next meet I go to can't come soon enough. Still got work to do in the van, but it is now very usable.
