| After a great BBQ in our garden yesterday and after consuming some very nice Dornfelder tinto on the way home I stubbed my toe on the doorstep and I may have to go to hospital for an x-ray tomorrow as it is very painful when walking. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Update on toe and new problem with Barb. Had x-ray this morning and fortunately the toe is not broken but just badly bruised so I have to keep it of the floor as much as possible, bit difficult when it is attached to the end of my leg  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Now for Barb, when she woke this morning her left eye was completely full of blood and extremely sore, so off to the doctors, he said it was a burst blood vessel from a snapped membrane in the rear of the eye, could be stress related so she has to take things easy as well, so I think between us we will be having a very quiet time over the next few days. | Bob, the one good thing about pain, is..... that when it goes away, it stops hurting. Robert used to get eye bleeds sometimes and I used to bathe his eyes with lukewarm water with a couple of drops of Johnsons baby shampoo, and he got a lot of relief with that. ( Doctor taught me that one ) | |

| ouch and ouch again.
put your wellys on {only the bad foot}and with your bare foot in the welly pour iced water in until its 6inch from the top.
do this every 2 hours.better still if you can get a really big pair of wellys. | |
