I have just heard from the yacht club regarding our booking for 2018 and we can only have a 9 night stay
I tried to get 2 week as asked for by a few members but the only periods available for more than 9 nights are right at the beginning of June or mid September

Dates for the 2018 meet are arrive Monday 9th July, leave site before 12:00 on Wednesday 18th July


Price for 2018 is £6.80 per unit per night plus the usual £1 per person rally fee plus £1 per person for the skip hire

MAX of 40 units on this rally

Your rally marshal for this meet will be Ladybird, Jolly Campers and Motor-Homers Committee

Sorry I have just taken KathleenParker off as they let me know that something as cropped up and they can't make it.

Spoke to Allan B and I have taken him off as he's waiting for  chaterack operation

I have also taken my name off as I will be journeying up to Duns for our George MX

So filled those to places with the first 3 on the reserve list

Not speaking to anyone else as I seem to be   Jining people 

Right you lot we need volunteers to help out especially the first 3 days when Polly won't be there and we won't be there till Thursday , any help appreciated ,if we can't get any help we may have to cancel ,could some of you please give us a hand .

I know you have Joyce and it's much appreciated but we also need somebody to provide some entertainment in the tent at night apart from the one's who usually do it ,it's supposed to be a committee thing ,but can't get any response ,so we need volunteers to suggest and do something ,come on you lot give it a go .

Happy to help with the event shelters and anything else. Will be arriving on the 9th not sure about entertainment yet but an evening of chat, a fun quiz etc. Can arrive earlier if needed.

Sorry but for the first 3 days you will only have 2 event shelters available, tried all ways to get the other two up there but as yet had no joy.
I will be there on Thursday with one, Frank has the other one.

Ken, have you arranged for someone to contact the site owner to open up the field and have you a committee member to organise us?

No problem with field access, some will be there a few days before on the C& CC meet, Joyce, Steve and Denise will be there to greet you :-D

Sorry for the extremely short notice, but very serious close family 'Issues' have reared their ugly head in the last few days, So we will now not be attending this meet - or any others in the foreseeable future. Can you also remove our name from the Bridlington meet too?

I'm really sorry about all this, but the recent events have all come as a shock and  is completely out of our hands.
