I booked 5 EHU pitches while I was there this weekend
ALL EHU pitches for the 2019 event have been sold

Please add your name to the list if you would like to attend the 2019 event, payment for 3 days has to be paid up front at the beerfestival price of £40 with EHU and £30 without EHU, and extra days can be payed for at the event and cost £12 with EHU and £8 without

Yes Tom it is, the festival runs from Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th and it was terrific last year. Live bands and cheap beer, what’s not to like.

I've managed to get Bank Holiday Monday off and it's only half hour from home so might give it a go.

As Dave as said great weekend
Think it's £5 each for entrance into club and Marques for the weekend just a one of payment . For that you get different live  groups day and evening for the weekend. 
A GREAT selection of Beers , as Dave said cheap. If your a non drinker then soft drink free.

And on the plus side GREAT company

Friday evening:
The Templebys
The Templebys are from Preston and they play funk and soul!
Their music mixes gutsy female vocals with heavy bass driven grooves, riff, heavy guitar and liberal lashings of Hammond funk. They write their own material and do the occasional cover in their own special style. While most of their influences are bands from the late 60's and 70's, their sound is modern, fresh and up to date.
Originally formed in 2009, they have played at venues all over the country including renowned Jazz and Funk clubs throughout the UK including Matt & Phred's Jazz Club Manchester, Floridita London and the Yardbird and have made several festival appearances including Kendal Calling and Solfest. Check out some of their material and see why we're so excited to have them.
Saturday afternoon:
Lowriderz UK
Lowriderz are a 4 piece band from East Lancashire playing classic rock hits
from the 60s to present.

Saturday evening:
Crash
Crash are a 5 piece pop and rock band including Paul on guitar, Ryan on drums,
Gaz on bass and Siobhan and Rachel who are 2 excellent female vocalists.
Revved up and edgy, full of energy, Crash know how to rock a party.

Sunday afternoon:
James Luke Duo
Exciting rock guitarist and singer, James played throughout the UK in the 1980s and songs include covers of Bryan Adams, Robbie Williams, Status Quo and much more. Genre is rock, pop and Indie.
We look forward to rocking the club.

Sunday evening:
Revival
Our final night of entertainment is this 5 piece band from the North West and Midlands covering hits from the 50s from Eddie Cochrane, The Beach Boys. Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart and Queen.
Lead guitarist Tom Bruce grew up in a musical family learning the ukulele banjo, piano and classical guitar. Revival was formed in 2010 when Tom joined forces with other like-minded musicians and vocalist.
We will be dancing the night away.

Message from Whittingham club - Morning all, with huge regret, it's my job to tell you that our Band for Friday 3rd May at Beer Festival have pulled out, due to personal circumstances. Oh! Not again, I hear you say! Yes, it's happened! However, RAILERMAINIA, have stepped up and they're going to ROCK the place to the rafters! It's going to be Awsome! See you all there!

I've been in contact with David, he is parking our group on the football field, on the hard standing which is on the right when you go through the top gate, same place as last year

How's the beer festival going?

I don’t think anyone is in a fit state to answer Ken.

Is anyone in a fit state to give us the low down on the Beer Festival.

It was superb, beers went down very well, had a couple of pints for absent friends and many others of course . . .  pints and friends heehee, weather kept ok ísh, but no problem for the festival, as you know its all inside or under cover,

Great choice of sausages as well, sampled several of course !!!!!,

Yes asKen says the beer festival doesn't let us down. Ok no Queenesk but they are on in Woodbank park Stockport with others End of May.
But the drummer was there and itching to be on stage. He did get up and join a duo in a Queen song.
Not sure what's happening next year due to the redevelopment in the area
Beers were good and the chicken and black pudding sausage was ummy
Had a lovely day in Preston only 7 miles but bus took us the tourist route an hour.
