From the M6 Jn 32 follow signs for Longridge.
Continue on this road for 9 miles through Longridge towards Ribchester.
Site on left half a mile past Angels Restaurant.

From A59 take the B6245 towards Ribchester.
Turn right In Ribchester to follow the B6245 towards Longridge.
Site on right in approx 3/4 mile.

Please do not follow post code on your sat nav, Follow Preston Road Ribchester or follow the directions above.

Going to get a last meet in before we set off on our travels  


We have got 17 EHU places, room for 20+ vans which will all be on hard standing
Max 24 units

Price for this meet is:

£15.00 With EHU and use of facilities
Or £11.75 No EHU
Plus the usual £1 per person rally fees

Arrival time not before 13:00 on 28/03/2019
Departure no later than 12:00 on 01/04/2019

I’ve read through all the posts but can’t see if there is a room, other than the barn. Bearing in mind it’s not long now could you let me know if there will be any heating or should we bring our thermals?

Polly, a Benidorm coffee is a cup of coffee and a glass of Brandy.

I use brandy to cool my black coffee down.
It takes rather a lot of brandy to achieve that.

I found Nescafe Gold Blend about the best tasting coffee at the moment. Pity I have to drink the other make first.

I don't use boiling water on coffee but allow kettle to cool first find that improves the flavour.

I like that Maria in coffee with cream floater yummy

I did not won't to do this but I will have to cancel this meet. Not having my C1 at the moment.
I sent it off for it in January. Due to some medical problem that they are questioning, it's with there medical team. DVLA passed thier report from my doctors to thier medical team last week.
I was hoping to here by today, but no such luck. If it came Thursday, it wouldn't give me time to get the van ready, as It's been in storage since December.
Sure you will all have a good time.

When I applied for my C1 my licence which ran in November did not receive it untill January
In between the months phoned DVLA as long as they are holding my licence I could carry on driving

Hi Dave, DVLA say's you can drive, unless it's a medical condition which I seem to have.
I had a stent fitted five years back also high blood pressure.  I have no idea what they are checking with my doctors. the doctor wouldn't say. Say hello to Julia for me.

Hi to all...although we only had a day and a night with the gang, we did enjoy ourselves.
Good to meet up with a few we hadn't seen for a while.


We wish Ken and Adele all the best on their adventures in Scotland (and beyond)...still think they should've gone south though...and if you they do find somewhere to buy better make sure there's enough land to accomodate all those visitors!

Tonight will be their last night on English soil for a while.

Adele and I (that's posh for me isn't it :-D) would like to say a big thank you to everybody that attended the meet at Dale Hey.
Thank you for the cards, gifts and for the collection you had for us.
We will miss you all, hope some of you make it up to Orkney, see you all sometime in the future.
You all know the original plan was to go to Whittingham and this got cancelled, maybe it was a blessing in disguise, such a lovely site at Dale Hey, everyone commented on it, please leave a review for them on Google or UKCampsite.

I will post a link soon to our new Facebook page, where you will see where we are up to on our journey, and that's where all the photos will be posted.
